I have a wired XBOX360 controller that I use with my laptop to play games on BizHawk. Everything works fine. But, when I try to plug another one in to play a 2P game with a friend, the laptop recognises it as a second controller but BizHawk doesn't and doesn't recognise button presses when mapping the buttons. Any ideas on what the problem could be or how I can get 2P working fine. I have tried a USB Playstation 3 controller but it lags and there are phantom button presses etc so it is unplayable. Thanks.

did you try closing and reopening bizhawk after you plugged the 2nd controller in?
It's hard to look this good. My TAS projects

The second controller is always plugged in so it was already there before BizHwk was started up. Windows recognises it as a second controller and it works on other applications, but not in Bizhawk sadly.

bizhawk won't support more than 1 xinput device until the next release

Ok. Thanks for that. Glad to hear it's in the pipeline. Hopefully the next release isn't too far away then. :)

It's already been fixed, if you can get a development build

Oh, that would be great. Where can I get a copy of the development build? It is listed publicly or so I need to ask someone for it privately? Would love to get a copy of it for using tonight as a friend is calling over and I would like to play 2P with him instead of having to take turns in 1P!

I think "development build" means compiling it yourself.

Oh, I see. I'll give that a try later on tonight then.

Well, I managed to compile it just fine following all the instructions to the letter. Only problem I encountered was that SNES games wouldn't open, but NES games did just fine. I wonder what I did wrong or didn't do to get SNES games working...

Ahh... That wasn't mentioned in the compiling guide. I will try that tonight then and see how I get on. Thanks.
