So, I have a problem that I can't seem to find any answers to anywhere. I will record a movie of the SF2 series or other games running on CPS-1 hardware and I get desyncs while playing the file. However, I can record games such as SF3, Alpha 3 or even SF2 Super Turbo and be completely fine. Is this just a general problem with FBA-rr or could I have some messed up files?

So are you having problems only with certain games? I literally have the same problem with Super Street Fighter II Turbo, generally desyncs when playback the file but according to my tests and what was already said in the support this may be caused by game choice or by the emulator. In my case as example the problem was the game choice, SSF2X doesn't work fully because some characters desyncs than other, my conclusions was both for emulator and game. But I would suggest what I've already said on Youtube comment and putting the compatibility on the fba.exe to winxp sp3 or win7, seriously this solve some problems with FBA in some games while I was having some troubles trying some certain games to work. *edit: I'd suggest to try running and doing some movie tests on another FBA versions to take more knowledge of what are happening.

Glad to see you came over from the YT comments. Put it into xp sp3 mode and doesn't really make a difference other than sometimes states load a bit faster. Replaying with other versions doesn't seem to matter either. Maybe I'm just super unlucky.

I have a subscriber with the same problem, maybe it can be your bit system, do you use 64 or 32 system bits?

Hm... I would like if possible suggest you to download Virtual Box and test in a 32bit system if is possible, I guess the problem are your bit system and my sub have the same bit system as you.

Well, I figured it out. Opening the game menu causes the desyncs, which means I have to play on the normal difficulty.
