Hi. I like the convenience of editing .cht files in text editors like Notepad and WordPad since I can create duplicate codes for both players (provided they're Pro-Action Replay codes) by simply copying and pasting the Player 1 codes, and use the auto-replace function to edit the addresses and descriptions to correspond to player 2. It's much better than duplicating each code one-by-one in fceux's cheat window and making the changes manually, which can get tedious. Although I have done this in the past successfully, I had recently discovered a problem when adding codes to a .cht file in Notepad. I entered the duplicated codes (in this case SMB3's B-Button Map Item Select codes) and saved the .cht file, but when I opened the ROM up in fceux, the new cheats that were designated as active were not recognized, and trying to open fceux's cheat window caused the emulator to crash. What am I doing wrong?

Please try creating an issue on fceux bug tracker, those have more chances to get tested and fixed.
