I don't know how it's called in English, but it's definitely not plastic. anyway, poor chickens, they think it's a block of popcorn...

I’m not a native english speaker and I only know well how it’s called in russian (пенопласт). My apologies. I know I could use Google Translate, but sometimes it’s boring to go there everytime I need to say something.

Oh, Google Translate... I know how it feels, as I still have to use it quite a lot. :) Well, I'm sorry if it sounded like I was pointing out a mistake. (it would be stupid, since I myself don't know how to call it, too) In Portuguese, my native language, it's called "Isopor". But I think it's a brand, not the real name of that thing the chickens are eating.

Correction "φελιζόλ" is a kind of expanded πολυστυρένιο.

Great! Now we know how to call it in Russian; пенопласт Portuguese; Isopor Greek; φελιζόλ and thanks to Eszik, finally in English; Polystyrene anyway, I have a weird feeling that we're kinda off topic with this discussion...

English; Polystyrene
What I wrote is that it's actually styrofoam not polystyrene. Since styrofoam is expanded polystyrene. English; Styrofoam Since we're all mentioning styrofoam in different languages. Why am I taking this seriously?

English is supposed to be an objective language, but it's amazing how it can be so confusing sometimes. So, if you're not a native speaker, it's hard to know who is being sarcastic and who is trying to teach you something.

No worry, "polystyrène" is also a good translation, but in french ^^. Now you can add this language to your list.
