Hi, Not really TAS-related, but I wanted to test some glitches and stuff and couldn't find any reliable NTSC ROM, every one that I could find had glitched audio and menu that made pause buffering and other things impossible. Do you know where I could [MOD EDIT: read the forum rules]?

if you tested multiple ROMs, then chances are it's a problem with the emulator, settings or plugins you're using... But I'm just randomly guessing

The U rom that is marked with a [!] shouldn't be hard to find. But like mugg says, sounds like you are having emulator problems.

Ok, so it didn't work with BizHawk 1.5.3 or 1.7.1, but works fine in PJ64 1.6... But yeah, I guess there's a problem with my settings. Anyway, it works now, thanks for your help!

To be fair, that was the most constructive and helpful answer you could get without him violating site rules.
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

Link to video W A T . edit: Affects the following categories: No WW, 100%, All Dungeons (It has different RBA route and now it will be faster almost certainly), Bingo (until Bingo gets updated), maybe some others I've forgotten. Doesn't speed up any% because you don't do RBA in any%.

I'm not really familiar with RBA, but what does this do and what makes it faster?

Normally you have to go through a really complicated ritual to get bottle on B that takes 10+ minutes. Now literally all you need is a bottle and a sword and you can do it anywhere that has water. RBA lets you write values to inventory and give you stuff for free based on certain rules, like what item is on C-Right and what item is in the bottle.

How are people finding so many glitches lately? I noticed everybody jumps in the water before they do these glitches, so what does that actually do?

It's for a glitch called Quick Draw, which makes you take out an item without the animation. Link to video

His WR is 12 seconds slower than his sum of best splits, and his sum of best splits is ~1 minute slower than the TAS, which is ~20 seconds slower than an updated TAS would be, which is ~30 seconds slower than the TAS would be if it could be/was done on a faster console (VC or iQue)

How long do you think an iQue TAS would be?
