Please read, becuase even though i'm not sure, i think the idea checks out well.
I'm sure from a lot of our perspectives starting out with this kind of stuff, we've absolutely hammered google on how to slow stuff down and then a regular playback is boss, yeah, which is the whole point lol.
So like yeah, when it comes to pc games, somehow they get dwarfed like that.....but, strictly speaking thats not so, games like mw3, using the right tools (i'm referring to single player, cos douches use hacks), you can use the timescale command to slow the action down, and complete with slow-mo voices too.....so this is the method i worked out to do it.
1. set the game to 0.5 -- 0.25 -- play speed via the timescale commands e.g "timescale 0.5"
2. during play record using screen capture software, such as dxtory (smaller file sizes)
3.when done, open the file in media player and increase the playback timescale by required parameters
3a. ******
Use timescale in fractions,
I can merely enlighten here, so my idea is that setting the game's speed to 0.5 is half a second slower....so we double the integer to create footage at normal speed, (so 0.5 becomes 1.0 etc.)
So we play can actuallly tinker with stuff and make TAS's of games that say no...(i.e. MW3, HL2, L4D), it can be done ^_^
