hey guys, how you doing? Gotta introduce myself as a noob and all that lol. Now that's cleared up, i've been watching these TAS playthrough's for some time, and although it's took some time i've started on shinobi 3, my 1st attempt clocked out at 26mins, which i thought ok, i'll whack it on my YT, as you do. i'm not gonna bother posting that one since i overwrote it, the one i'm in the middle of seems to be much better by any standard, i know i'll not touch dammit's run, that was rapid as anything. but no less when its done, i'll still post it, there was 1 mistake per se (2 uneeded jumps) that costed about 6 seconds) - despite that, there's an interesting route on stage 5 before the boss, i had to scope a few glitches. i'll post it when it's done, peace guys

Welcome to TASVideos, martandelus! It's nice to hear you're having fun playing around with TASing. I know you think you won't ever pass up the published run's time, but with enough practice, you might be able to hone your skills to the point where you can at least match that time, maybe even beat it.

Even your interests in that is a good sign for us! I'm a noob too (I made lots of fun TA Superplays, but not Speedruns, so there are no movie to submit yet)! Don't be upset, if your sth run won't be published: it means that you have lost something, but you have your run as a perfect example to remake it and our community is always ready to help you (at least there are some people who always can help)! You did the right thing that began TASing from a NES game, it gives you a good practice and you can meet every possible TAS tool to make the run better and easier in making! Good luck!
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

Sorry for a late reply, job hunting and studying is a knacker, lol So cool watching these runs, it's like a SSJ4 playing MK2, any help to create a beast of a time would be great, i appreciate that man, much kudos. got the current run clocked at 24.45, its a massive improvment, should be upped pretty soon, YT takes its time on my connesction. i'll up the .gmv since it's not bad, i should probs try something like SMB 1, time to hit the warp zones lol
