I want all good TAS inside TASvideos, it's my motto. TAS i'm interested: Megaman series, specially the RPGs! Where is the mmbn1 all chips TAS we deserve? Where is the Command Mission TAS? i'm slowly moving away from TASing fighting games for speed, maybe it's time to start finding some entertainment value in TASing.

Any indoor non ring level, get oob through any wall. Possibly cut straight through everything haha.. For the metro level, would you soft lock if you just cut straight through everything without following the tunnel?

Going too far OoB gets you stuck.

Hmm okay well when/if I get around to some of these levels, I'll be sure to test my limits. It does seem like the Metro Level is a giant zigzag from first glance so I was just trying to imagine flying straight over the top of it. May be boring to do it that way though.

A ah everyone i know it will be a pain but i will be using mupen Bizhawk wont work something about jitdebugging And it crashes if i load superman64 If there is a way to convert the m64 file to bkm then we are going somewhere Goodluck all

I have been taking notes on this superman64 game I have not been able to fully understand how superman can gain a massive boost of speed from buildings Also the dark shadows are really bad when it comes too tasing them (fighting and also shooting)

And about your BizHawk issue... I think you will have to stick Windows (or whatever you played Mupen64 in) since using MacOSX to TAS is way to much trouble for someone new to this (e.g. you). And since using BizHawk is preferable (and because solarplex also is doing the movie on it), you just either also use BizHawk and work together, OR you just don't work directly in the TAS (by not TASing) and help through testing, memory address, etc.

Shoutouts to Moth for moving this all across. Anyways Solar, Guga or alec. Have you looked into the Ram Searching for this game. Besides having the one for the rings. I'm just curious for the speed of which superman can actually go in this game and the slowdowns due to the sharp turns.

Just looking over yours again solarplex I suggest from where the timer is 1:10 left take the last ring before you decend and go to the fifth ring (because 4 is max). You cut a bit of the course which means there is no tight turn which so no slowing down for Superman.

I was able to find the rings missed ram search. but there are so many addresses I can't find a single one that represents speed.

So probably X,Y,Z speed, gravity? lol.. I wish I knew more about memory

Thanks. My goal since I really can't figure it speed addresses is to just minimize the amount of turning and maximize my straight shots. Checking with the first TAS and RTS which both finished at :53 on the timer, this is a 5 second in-game improvement at least.

How many rings are you allowed to skip? Does it vary by stage? Also How does the RTS pick the car faster? Better spawning?
