Not everyone has free time like you to look on the site like hell. He's not trying to be insulting, he's trying to save you the aggravation of submitting a SMB TAS that's not as good as the published one and it being summarily rejected.

Sorry loosing my mind like thins kirk, not because you're editor or something, but just like me, a lot of people have jobs/studies. Runs abusing emulator bugs are generally frowned upon. And if you're looking for a bug in the game you're TASing you don't need the emulator's source code, just the emulator itself. I suggest you read http://tasvideos.org/TASHowTo.html and perhaps even the other pages you can find under "Movie Making" over at http://tasvideos.org/ArticleIndex.html.

If you get killed by the shell you used, you're too far away from the shell to land on it. Move closer to the shell, so you still land on it, but not too close because then the shell would get away.

Stand as far to the right as possible on one step (hug the staircase). Right when the koopa is falling off the step two steps above the one you're standing on, jump to the maximum height (4 blocks), and land. That's the exact timing that I use to pull it off.

1. You can get way more coins from that multi-block. You were jumping again too quickly. 2. If you kick the Koopa forward, you can score about 13,000 points from it taking out the Goombas.
