Some experiences from trying to use JPC-rr:
Savestate 10 does not work, it doesn't seem to be created on disk. Loading (shift F10) gives this error:
Load savestate failed
Can not open JRSR archive "D:\Spel\JPC-RR\saveslot-10.jrsr" [java.io.IOException]
[Dismiss] [Save stack trace]
I like the fact that you are always recording a movie, as soon as you start a game, and can save to different filenames. However, it would be nice if there was always some backup-movie being saved to disk at regular intervals, so you don't lose work in case of a crash.
When saving a movie, there is no default file ending. At first I didn't manage to submit my movie because of this. The
info page here on TASvideos states it should be JRSR. This is incorrect, it should be jrsr to be able to submit (case sensitive). Either JPC-rr or the submission code should be changed to fix this.
There is no easy way, as far as I've understood, to switch between read/write when recording movies.
