I must mention that the clock stop glitch wasn't used. It makes the movie pretty boring.

For Mr. Sandman, it's faster in timeunits being hitted than not because when the hero lift up, Mr. Sandman is doing his special move. After avoiding all his special attacks, you can hit him a lot like it's not possible to do.
