I was gonna say there is no conceivable difference between this run and the last one, but I gotta give you guys credit for the different camera angles. So here's a yes.
UH-OH! MISTER EPIC IS RAISING TROUBLE AGAIN!
I have a feeling people are going to see Mr. Epic's post and spazm and then this topic will have 2061 pages of useless arguments.
This movie features the second worst camera control in all Super Mario 64 submissions. It appears as if the authors intended to prevent the watcher from seeing what was going on in the movie.
<klmz> it reminds me of that people used to keep quoting adelikat's IRC statements in the old good days
<adelikat> no doubt
<adelikat> klmz, they still do

I find it funny that the last SM64 run's team had spent an immense amount of time and effort on maxing it (with 400000+ rerecords), and look, almost exactly 6 months later it's obsoleted already by a run with "only" ~55000 rerecords (no offense intended to all the authors of the previous SM64 TAS).
Anyway, waiting for encode to vote.

<dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects.

<adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

It's already obsoleted with 'only' 55000 rerecords because they saved 3 frames and not 25 seconds. For the record, I love this run, and am friends with Mickey/Snark. I followed the progress since they started redoing it. I'm not complaining. But I hate when people act like you just did and talk bull crap when they don't know anything.
@Mickey, Snark, and ToT:
Great job guys. I loved the new camera angles. It really made it seem like a brand new run. Voting yes, and good luck if you find more improvements. =)
after having watched the encode, I see some parts in BitS are different, are those slower or faster? I know they don't matter because of the end elevator, just found it weird to see them
oh, I haven't said it yet… congratulations!! huge props for improving those few frames out of a great TAS :)
camera angles were unique, but I like the usual ones better
I felt like the new camera angles were too closely zoomed on mario.
Also, the totally unnecessary zooming in and out after each bowser fight was awful.

Should be "definitely".
Good post, anyway. Was definitly entertaining.
Edit: Sorry! Couldn't resist. Anyway, I voted "Meh" because the camera is obnoxious in Bowser's stages and the improvement is negligible. However, the run is faster, so I encourage the authors to just fix the camera so we can see Mario moving horizontally in Bowser's stages 2 and 3.

An "it" at the beginning would be helpful, too.
And no, I'm not going to continue the trend by saying this was "definit[e]ly entertaining", because it wasn't for previously mentioned reasons.
