After lurking for about 5-6 months or so, I decided to throw in my two cents (and maybe attempt a speedrun myself) into the forum.
Not that my opinion necessarily matters, but after reading all the negative feedback and the clone-ish sites being created, I just figured it'd be nice to get some positive feedback.
I find these videos to be absolutely beautiful... no, seriously, I do. A lot of analogies have been thrown about, but I like to compare them to a composer creating a symphony. They think about what they want to do, write it out in the form of notes, get an orchestra together and create a masterpiece, which is what a lot of these videos are (to be fair, I haven't watched them all). Yes, I know the analogy is flawed, but that's the best way I can put it.
I love the videos, and even after finding out how they were made, it gave me a greater appreciation for them. People often say perfection is boring, but in this case, its highly entertaining.
Just thought the people creating these videos would like to know they're making at least one person smile :)
