I'm surprised that some of the levels are frame perfect with the human players and that there's aren't any TAS-only timesaves for every level. Besides that, beautiful work and such clean execution. Any reason for gongon?

after watching plexa beat werster's record by 15 minutes in real time and 2 minutes game time, I was surprised to find out that there wasn't already a TAS of golden sun, is there any particular reason why?

When do you estimate completion of the full game TAS, winter? Next summer?

I messed around with it on mupen for a bit and I was able to hit 10 exactly every time with frame advance. The problem with this is that it uses what input frame (1/60s) you input on instead of just visual frames (1/20s), so you only have 1/60 of a second to hit it. Oddly I wasn't ever able to get 9.99 or 10.01 like GoronGuy, it went from 9.98->10.00->10.02 every time for me. Also tried on both 1.0 and 1.1 and it seems no different between each other.
What ZFG was saying during the run is that depending on what frame you start the timer it might not even give 00 as an option, that would explain why you couldn't get 99 or 01 like GG.

durring goronguy's 100% J run tonight, a debate came up about the difficultly of the postman heartpiece. Because the timer goes to the hundreths place, sometimes it is litterally impossible to stop right on 10:00. Will someone please TAS this to see if it is even possible every time? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLiSJyBSkhw

I just lurk and I don't claim to know very much, but doesn't it make more sense to start a fund to fix mupen first, instead of giving money to skilled players working with horrible software? Or is mupen beyond repair and a new TAS-capable emu would have to be built from the ground up?

I think soulcalibur 2 would make a great TAS. I'm not sure how it runs on dolphin, but it could be very entertaining

Would anyone be interested in doing a Dynasty Warriors TAS? A regular speedrun of it would be boring to watch, but I'm sure a TAS of it could be very entertaining.

very repetitive, try fighting 3 enemies instead of 1 and you'll be able to use more moves and combos. Still, not a bad start

What if someone TASed Kaztalek's 100% route? Would that work out, or would the time saved from tool-assisting mess up the day cycles? Link to video

Get that started. It may not be the HIGHEST entertainment value, but I think it's worth doing. And I will diffinately enjoy watching it

I wondered why you didn't use the spacebar in the previous version.... But yes, this is much better, yes vote. Also, could you explain to me why you slowed down and jumped before triggering the end credits?

The japanese version has a shorter cutscene at the start (peach doesn't say her little dialouge). I think that's the next step to sub 5 minutes. Does anyone know about the glitches in the japanese version? Oh, and obviously, voted yes

I'm sure that would be a very entertaining run, even with the numerous and silly cutscenes. If you want it done, I suggest that you do it, otherwise you could be waiting a while... Don't know how to? Well there's no time like the present to learn, who knows, you may have a knack at it.

Pardon my noobish-ness, but I would love to see an any% run of Yoshi Story; 1. Is one being worked on? 2. If not, then could someone start? 3. And if no one will, which emu should I use?

If this passes, James Rolfe needs to see it
