To answer your question: 1. Interstellar League, im not sure if that is actually in the game or not. Maybe the developers were hinting on a sequel for the game. I have not found any cheats online that would unlock Interstellar League. The only way i could think of that would unlock this league would be to score "hi score" on every single arena. Im not sure what high scores are based on because i beat the high score on Kala Pathar with only 3k Points, whereas in Tharsis Ring i couldnt get one even with 10k points, which is humanly impossible with 1 puck. 2. The verification movie unlocked Outdoor League and Interplanetary League and their round 4's. 3. Its not selected, its permanent after beating round 3's of each arena. 4. Round 4 is permanent after you have beaten round 3's on each arena, so yes it did beat Tharsis Ring and Outpost, but i didnt select round 4 on my own will.

I have found timesaves on a few levels: 2. Wasted Forest: Better angle on the turn before the boost cancel on lap 2. 3. Pier 29: Handbraking and letting go of accelerate is faster in the plane section. 4. Toxic Dump: Using turbo 1 frame later in the plane section on the 1st lap produces a chain which is faster in both boat and plane section. 6. Rad Shaft: Better angled boost cancelling in the middle of each lap. 10. Demolition Site: Better boost cancel without having to touch the wall in the car section, really precise and difficult to do, saves maybe 1-2s in total. 12. Burnt Out Shack: Using the handbrake overall in some of the tight sections, there is also the potential of mega bouncing up to the upper section which i have tried, but never got working, That would save around 40s total~. Expected timesave is either ~10s or 50s-1min with Burnt Out Shack Mega Bounce if that ever works. Also need to take into account the RNG in the menu before each level, so it doesnt mess up the changing items in each level.

I remember watching this exact TAS a few years ago, just the last boss fight is different. With new strategies and better movement optimization + ringboosts im sure you can shave off at least 10 more minutes.

I am not sure if you are aware of this, but ringboosts also work on Rayman GBA. I didn't watch the full run yet but Eat at Joe's has some questionable movement.

Hello, I've been looking at a new game to TAS "Dodgem Arena" for the PSX. The game is a bit similar to Rocket League if you know that game, but instead of cars kicking a ball around an arena, here its flying vehicles shooting a puck into a goal that moves around the arena in a circular pattern. The game consists of 8 arenas, 4 of them are available from the beginning, the other 4 are unlocked by finishing the first 4 obviously. Each arena consists of 4 rounds. The first round has 4 pucks in the arena so basically anyone can score points. The 2nd round has 3 pucks, the 3rd round 2 pucks, and the 4th and final round has only 1, making it sometimes very difficult to finish in 1st place. Each round lasts 2 minutes and the player with the most points in the end wins. You can damage enemies with different items scattered around the arena, lasers, rockets etc. If your vehicle loses health it will also lose speed. Now my TAS goal would be: 8 arenas times 8 minutes would be over an hour long, which is too long for me, and also because i don't want to repeat the same arena 3 more times to avoid repetitiveness. I want to make a verification movie where i play the game from the beginning to the end, so i can unlock the last 4 arenas. I want to play through all 8 of the arenas only ONCE, not 4 times. The TAS would then be around 20 minutes long, which is good for me. So i go like this: Do the verification movie to unlock all the arenas, then tas the game with the help of Sram, play through one arena once and after finishing 1st place, quit out and move onto the next arena. EDIT: Solved it.

Okay so i just attempted to put in the 26 frame timesave i mentioned in the previous post. I roughly tased the very last level with Sakura and there appears to be a lack of yellow cards. Without the 26 frame timesave it was somewhat of a lack of blue cards but it is still 144 frames faster than my attempt to fix it just now. Im leaving this as it is.

I just noticed a very avoidable mistake... At around 21:40 in the video the protagonist slowly moves to the right so that the next cutscene starts. I could have just stayed on the right and saved those 26 frames, such a dumb mistake by me. This changes RNG after the cutscene so i would have to fix the last level. So meh because im working on another game and now i have to fix this...

The problem with the secret stages is that the "Help" feature is disabled for all 60 stages which means that i would have to spend a lot of time figuring out the best possible route. Edit: Ok i have taken a look at the cheats and it seems to work out, i will mostly likely tas these stages in the future.
