Awesome. That sounds like a cool plan. Best of luck and keep going.

Well, I think it depends on what type of run this is ultimately going to be... IF you are going for speed then the second one. But if you are going for a high score, which is definitely something which should be considered, you scored more points in the first one. However, the first one does have the unfortunate disadvantage of waiting for other characters to catch up. If that does not bother anyone, then I say go for one. Are you getting a desynch problem during playback?

Flopsie, are you still using the same computer you were using in college, or have you finally upgraded?

I remember this game. There was way to much stuff to collect. Even though I loved it, I never could get through it. It was far too... Overwhelming. Anyway, i think this was Great! Nice to see all the glitches, and you explain them well! Yes vote from me!

I can now see why this game is regarded as the worst game ever made. All that aside, I found it hilarious that you went outside of the rings and it still counted. This is going to be great, I could watch this all day.

Now people will just be releasing runs for the money, even if they are not optimized or the best they can be. Plus as someone who cannot afford the 25 dollars a month, this sucks.

I'm going to test a murphy text skip. For the first lum, the gate does not start opening until your get the lum. Also, when you roll, at the end you come to a complete stop, your speed goes to zero and it costs a few frames to start running again. With some optimization, shooting at the right point will provent the stop to zero and merely slow you down a bit. This will save time.

Thanks Nahoc. I'll take a look and see if there are any changes I can make. The running in this game is hard and so are the camera angles. Thanks for the tip.

Upon initial tests in the beta version of Bizhawk that supports n64, the glitch preventing us from completion does not exist. For those of you who remember, the cave of bad dreams boss would fall off the edge in an emulation error and the game would cease to function. The game does not do this with the with new version. Upon official release Got4n, myself and anyone who wants to help can begin work.

Reading Neuromancer. It's like the matrix in book form, but it was written in 1984. It's pretty cool.

I'm not going to give this vote a Yes. I'm going to give it one big, huge, resounding, gigantic, over the top, HELL YES. I nominate this for funny TAS of the year, and it is not that time yet.

Hey, I remember this game, I was terrible at it. Watching this and seeing it again brought back memories. Glad I could finally see what the later levels look like. I thought this TAS was well done and very entertaining. It showed a lot about the game and made it look fun. Because of this, I am inclined to give it a Yes Vote.

Watched the WIP and it was pretty good. Something can be polished out. Also, you can skip the scenes with the teensies by rapidly pressing A. You did a fine job with this, try to smooth a few things over and you are set to go. See if you can get the glitch to work in the cave of lost dreams!

The game crashes if you load a save state, in the cave of bad dreams. I got it to work, but I forgot how. Before you go any further, i suggest you figure it out. I did a lot of stuff in this game, please do not hesitate to ask any questions. I was going to start doing the any% following the route taken by Man o' Cheese, at SDA..... so that might be a good place to start.

I remember when I was a kid and playing this game on single player mode, when it looked like i would die, I would grab the second controller press start and continue playing as another character. This made me feel cool cause i could cheat the game. Might be useful if you have to take damage to save time. If not, best of luck, and I look forward to completion!

Here is what i found when I did some of the game. 1) i experience massive Desynchs, this was partially due to lag, and partially due to the emulation. Maybe the the ROM as well. Maybe BizHawk has caught up. Are you having any Problems? 2) A curious thing that I notices, and it is important to say I did not try this on the genesis version which i did not know existed, was that when I watched the movie play back the level had been different than the one I had TASed. This led me to believe that entering on a different frame might cause a shorter or different level. SOmething worth looking into.

Hope you and your folks are ok, and if they are not, I sure do hope they are not too badly injured. My heart goes out to all affected.
