FF6 rules and I have spent all too much time playing it :). I love the esper system and all the hidden secrets (paladin shield is soo great ^^). It is clearly my favourite FF game. Second favourite is FF5. I loved the job mastering system!
A game that should be on that list is UFO: enemy unknown. That game is nearly impossible to defeat without using save/load extensively...
on beginner difficulty! (There are many difficulty levels...)
There is noone who can possibly know which game was the 29:th game ever made. Unless you mean 29:th world wide released game or something like that.
But still... why bother?
Yes, Ufouria is really nice. I played through it again just some weeks ago. I never checked for a fastest route though, just tried to get all stuff :).
I got -21 on that game on console when I was a kid :).
Played it a lot.
The thing is that it is not very hard once you learn the physics of the game. The power meter is really slow, so it is not hard at all to get the power you want. Of course the hardest part when you are not used to it is which club to choose.
I think that it would look too easy to be interresting unfortunately. =/
Sorry mf, but Chrono trigger > alttp in most ways and I honestly do not think that Chrono fanboys would be more prone to cheating than Zelda fanboys on the poll.
EDIT: By the way. FF3 >> alttp as well. The outcome of that poll came as a huge surprise for me.
Well, alttp is a great game. I have played it a lot, found all items/pieces and the game is really easy to beat. CT and FF3 are just so much more content and fun. Especially FF3.
Don't know if this has been mentionied already but wouldn't it be faster NOT to get 5,000 at every end-of-the-level flag? Jump to the lowest point possible so it wouldn't take as much time as when sliding slowly down from the top of the flag...
I'm pretty sure you could time it well too, so you wouldn't get the fanfare & explosions either, saving time...:/
The flag has to reach the bottom no matter where on the pole he lands. No explosions on end of levels have been done since the first attempt on this game. I don't know which time attack you have been watching. I see no obvious ways to cut down time. ?=(

Is Out of this world the same as Another World?
Another world was a game about a guy who gets himself transported to another dimension or planet when an experiment of his goes wrong.
Yep, same game game but Out of this world in USA and Another world in PAL and Japan I think.
The thing was that I got like 5 people telling me the same thing, which was pretty annoying.
BUT who cares! Because I just finished a LEGIT speedrun. Please have patience while I'll get two more to host it. There will be three servers on the site.

You can shoot when landing on the beginning of each course for style points, but you wont hurt anything with those shots.
For a better time on the "save the people" courses, only save 1 of them to avoid the bonus points counter at the end ;). A nice looking trick is to grab one of them early, and cruise around defending that one the whole time while ignoring the other ones.
I still don't quite understand the adverse attitude towards using death as a shortcut. If it saves time, it saves time. Taking damage to save time is not frowned upon, so why is death?
I never understood that either. Sacrificing life to gain speed looks skilled.
Wow. This is very cool. With this 60fps version I was able to make the Ufouria timeattack I always wanted. In the unpatched version it would always desync in less than a minute, very annoying to say the least. blip, you are a genius, thank you very much.

The piano dude is definitely very skilled. He does some pretty tricky stuff there.
The piece is simple really, nothing very tricky involved. But I suppose he wasn't trying to play seriously in the first place, he was just fooling around with it while his buddy filmed him.
I have played the piano my whole life. I took lessons for 9 years. I say he is a good player.
