damn, my bad...let me rephrase my entire post haha Thrilla's Safari is not a side-scrolling game, but rather a "lateral-progression" game...the motion isn't fixed or anything, I just meant it's a game where you progress forward on a course while jumping over gaps and dodging obstacles. I didn't mean to confuse anyone by referring to it as a "speed run," when of course I meant TAS run. It really is worth a play (for those of you who haven't heard of it) I know, "Thrilla's Safari" is a pretty crappy title, but believe me, it is an outstanding NES game. I would be open to the idea of TAS'ing it myself, I just need to download a reliable recording application. Any suggestions? Also, if you give it a whirl, let me know if anyone is willing to perform a TAS run of it. Thanks!

Why has no one done a speed run of this game yet?! This was my favorite NES game as a child, and it is a perfect candidate for a run (side scrolling skateboarding game, jumps, obstacles, bosses, surfing) because using TAS methods, a perfect run could be created in each level. There are even warps throughout the game that could be exploited. Please, someone do a speed run of this awesome game (so I can see that long awaited perfect completion of this game!!!). E-mail me at bribrijinx@hotmail.com if you have any suggestions.
