Forgot one. Hardware related: Harddrive. Was unzipping about a million files, and the hdd just shut itself off (heard it do it), which caused the whole system to freeze. Has happened only once... but that kind of proves it that extremely high hdd load can cause it to malfunction :P

Hardware related: Bad RAM, overheating, moisture. Software related: Viruses (and Worms), Spyware (and Malware), (faulty) Drivers, (faulty) Applications. That's what I know can cause freezes. And if I'm right, not much else can cause it. So my advice is: Run memtest86 to check the RAM. After a freeze, check the temperature in the case. (Not entirely feasible to do in most cases, but if you can, it's worth a shot.) Scan your computer for viruses and spyware. Reinstall newest of all drivers. Check if some application may be linked to the whole thing. Or, you can do what I do. Backup everything, and do a fresh reinstall of windows (by formatting the hdds). Then for a day or so, just use windows as is, and if it freezes again... then it's most certainly: Hardware related, a virus or similar (in case you went online), or bad drivers. (Windows's standard drivers may be at fault as well, who knows)

Either get Opera. Or Firefox with the Tab Mix Plus extension. Both has crash prevention, so that when you start the browser again, it loads up everything you were at. But seriously, do something about the technical issue.

Have had many nicks, and I wont stop making new ones either... though I like them all the same. Some of those: Terranovix - Years ago. From the words Terra and Nova and then just bending it a little. Though the game Terranigma was the first inspiration. Endresult was good imo. Dropped it later though... because I like changing nicks. Aziere - Current. Thought up totally on my own by just saying random things and changing them slightly. Ended up with this after a day or so of thinking. I don't know if it means anything really. Just seen that it's a fairly uncommon french surname. Duckblur - Current. Completely stolen from Ducktales. Spoken in the lyrics of the opening. Not much to say, hehe. The one I like the most though. And luckily, seems no one else uses it. Also have had a few onetime nicks (well, a ton actually), and some that I came up with, but never used, because I simply didn't feel like it anymore.

I find all PSX emu's ive tried about equally good. epsxe plays about 90% of games for me. (some need v1.5.2) The rest usually works in psxeven. I find it's more about the plugins and less about the emulators in the case of psx emu's.

No clue why I'm posting in this topic. Oh well... I like doing bad stuff :P So... offtopic: Where is my beloved Super Turrican... for SNES. It's a different game, and much better imo. Isn't it feasible? I tried doing the first level, but I gave up since I don't like making TAS's, and I'm lazy. Well, I do like playing the game... in slow motion as well... but frame advance, that's no fun at all. Well, I've never actually seen Super Turrican for NES, I have no clue what it's like, I just know it's different from the SNES version.

Somewhat. Is it limited to one input per frame?

I hardly think it's logical to have downloads in the FAQ, but oh well... As for frame advance, I know how it works. But I need to know in detail. Is every frame accounted for when calculating button presses? Etc... //Aziere

1. What version of FCEU should I use for TAS's? I've noticed there are a lot of unofficial versions as well as the official one. 2. How does frame advance work? Specifically that is. Feel free to link me to other posts... I'm too lazy to search though... //Aziere (having fun as usual)
