Oh, that suddenly went quicker than I thought. Nice :-) Is there anything that should be adjusted in the description considering the things mentioned in the log?

Okay, it seems like we're not able to proceed that much from here. We have the arguments "too game-breaking" and "not that entertaining" againgst publication, opposed to the pro-arguments "completely different playstyle" and "interesting possibilities". Because much time has passed without anything happening, I see two ways to solve this: Either some others look into the run and tell us what they think, or a decision is made based on what we have now. What do you say, @slamo? (BTW it should be obvious that I'm for the publication in a new Moons category ^^)

I guess the only exception to this is that you get a Chestnut, which is a consumable food item (not a key item, you can get an infinite number of these) you would normally need to farm from the bottom floor of a specific dungeon that you've already completed, so I don't think getting this is really a skip that squanders any content.
Not to mention that I could've reset this dungeon until I got a decent Double Chestnut as well, so even the number of visits doesn't differ at all. ;-) And yeah, for reasons that you already stated I specifically named the branch like "QS and WM allowed", to make a clear distinction from the "regular" Any%, if necessary.

Okay, here it is: https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/637875224085025525 Turns out that I was wrong about the final inputs being necessary. ^^ Also, I just realized that time begins to count at Power On, which means the first 41 seconds also count into this. So the final time should be 1:36:40.01.

I've replaced the movie file and cut some blank frames off the end. andy120195, this is up to you, but I would recommend ending the input at frame 346992, which is enough to trigger the credits (the publisher will keep recording past this, don't worry). It would stop on the "END" screen and I feel like it would be more appropriate - I'm not sure I see the point of pressing A on the "END" screen and getting to the first line of the postgame dialogue. If you want to replace it, let me know.
Okay, I didn't know how far this is supposed to be done. But is it really how you said? At the "I want to go back" cutscene (which is shortly before "THE END"), I remember having to press buttons to be able to continue. I mean, we can ignore that and just full stop at the end of the credits (for example), I just found it more rounded up with the "END" at the very end, so I continued to that point. But I can also cut to frame 346992. What do you say? Greetings, Andy

Thank you for that hint. It's up now, I hope it can be seen already.

Update: Everything is prepared and updated. The only thing that's missing is the new submission file, which I also have ready, but don't know where to upload.

Hi there! Nice to see a PMD1 run submission. Too bad I can't watch it... because the video is private! 😀 Please set it to public.
It was set on "planned", so you probably tried to watch it in the last 5 minutes of where it was not public yet. ^^ Anyway, to any mod reading this, I'd like to make some minor changes that also affect my submission file. In the PMD Speedrunning Discord, I was made aware of timesave I didn't know about, considering basically every boss fight. I could only apply it to the final boss, though, so I basically have 5-6 seconds of timeloss throughout the run. But the 82 frames I saved are enough to get the run down to Sub 1:36. So, please give me a few days to sort things out and update everything.
