This game benefits from having a camhack encode or something (if it were possible). The TAS is very difficult to follow even though I have played this game before.
That's a cool idea, I'm not aware of any cam hack for this game, but the game is decompiled so it's definitely possible for someone to program, maybe with freezing ram values?

I'm just familiar enough with this game to know that various difficulty levels require completing different mission objectives. So runs of the game using each individual difficulty would be varied enough due to those objective differences to warrant different publications. So I'd suggest to add a goal/branch label of "agent."

Might not be needed, but I made a version of the TAS that is exactly the same but advances to the credits ASAP, I was told to submit up to the last input, this is just for if the encoder wants to include the credits https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638777616088595957

I'm really glad you decided to redo it from power-on. It would've been a shame to miss out on submitting because of it starting from a savestate. I also appreciated the detailed notes, though I think a link is missing in the Pelagic II section after you say "Here’s a link to technical details about that:".
Clipping glitches were fun and helped keep the pace fast. Looking at the ground so often was unfortunate (though necessary for lag), especially in Villa, but it seemed to get better after that level. Pushing the President and alien around was so funny, and I liked the entertainment sections like playing tic-tac-toe with yourself. Good job finishing this.
Yeah I'm glad too, it wasn't too much work redoing the first 3-4 levels and the levels ended up being faster when redone.
Added the link about the Pelagic II buttons thanks for catching that.
Thanks, yeah I tried to look up more later on, it's kinda annoying see everyone in the comments complain but I'm glad you're understanding about it, glad you enjoyed the TAS

I'm going to share this WIP TAS here for feedback that I can continue even with using a save state (I used the save state for an already complete options menu so I wouldn't have to include switching the settings e.g 1.2 control style in the menu in the final time).
It is Perfect Dark Any% RTA for the Nintendo 64, this is on the PAL version due to a large PAL exclusive trick on Deep Sea.
I want to get this published onto tasvideos.org so I want to know if I'm going to have to start over to make it legal, I'd rather not have to redo around 16 hours or so of work.
