I think it was quite entertaining despite the games low general speed.
But I have a few questions about possible improvements:
1. Beginning at frame 6800 there are many lag frames coming up; would killing the enemies reduce the lag and wouldn't it be faster? I mean, the game is vulnerable for lags obviously, but it might be possible to reduce the count.
2. In Level 2 can you manipulate the gas (and other moving objects, also later in the game)?
3. Is it possible to manipulate Furrball (to go in the first box?/pipe?) or is this completely scripted?
4. It seemed to me like the third boss could be beaten in his first move he does, have you tried that? That would save a huge amount of frames.
1.There is not any lags.
2.No manipulatable things
3.Difficult to control where the luck
4.Four times max hit in one wave.

Thanks for figuring out,but I cannot reupload it.
If you so desire, we can replace the submission file.
Considering the contribution of x2poet, were I to do this I would contemplate adding x2poet as a co-author.
I agree with adding the co-author.
Replacing the submission file is better I think.Need faster but not original work.

There is no J-version for the game but E-version only, I don't know what rom you used (hack rom?). You'd better make a movie with the SNES version of the game. So I vote no.

i hope i can see the movie ,all though with the bug about pressing start and high jump buttons can make time lag,but this game itself also can give our happy,so i think u should try it ~
我希望能看到这部录像,随然有凭按开始加高跳的BUG和很大的延时,但这个游戏还是很有娱乐性的……你应该去尝试一下~

Demon Sword completed as fast as possible. This film is faster than the original Curtmack record by about 66 seconds. In the first two levels, I found a way to avoid losing momentum when hitting trees and to jump over high walls without hitting them. With the first few bosses, I used the sword for all 20 hits to kill the boss as fast as possible. The third boss (2-1) is different because he can hide. I let him jump a couple times in order to manipulate him out of hiding for some time, which is slower in the long run. On boss 6, it looks like I'm wasting darts, but the game reads the darts as hitting even though they go through the boss graphically. The final boss teleports away every time it is attacked. It's impossible to find a truly optimal route because manipulating it to teleport closer one time may result in it teleporting much further away another time. Therefore, I have to use a suitable sub-optimal route.
Better?
I like the game and the movie. Yes vote.
