The title may sound confusing, but let me explain. I recently got a new gaming mouse that has side buttons. It would be really helpful if I could bind them to certain inputs via BizHawk (e.g B and A for Super Mario Bros), but those buttons aren't being registered as inputs. I'm currently using BizHawk 2.3 btw. Is there a way to use these side buttons with BizHawk? Do I need to download any external programs or do I simply need to update to the latest version? Help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHWK58Qq-5s Here's a playaround I did in 1-1 a few days ago. I didn't use the TAS feature of BizHawk, I went into 50% speed and used rewind; that's why there are a few slip ups here and there. Includes: Shell manipulation Wall jumps Wall clips What do you think of it?

Ok, thanks! I definitely see what you mean by 'at a cost of performance', but it'll probably be worth it in the long run.

Is there a way to enable rewind for SNES games on BizHawk? I'm not sure if it's just the default emulator BizHawk uses for SNES (SNES9x) or if there's a hidden option, but BizHawk simply doesn't allow rewinding for SNES games. This really sucks, especially since GB, Genesis and NES allow rewinding, and I use the feature heavily. So, is it just impossible to rewind on some consoles, or am I missing something?

I've done a few TASes in my spare time in BizHawk, and I want to upload them to YT (I'm not submitting btw). Does anyone know how to convert bk2 files into a more standard type like mp4? I can't seem to find any help on the main TASVideos site.
