I like both jimsfriend and feos' ideas. If I wasn't on my crappy iPod right now, I'd implement it immediately.
One question: Is this what appears after you click the link to the game, or what appears on the actual Game Resources page?

What if the restriction is applied that each battle entered must be finished as quickly as possible? In other words, you are not allowed to spend extra time in a battle even if doing so speeds up a later battle. (Outside of battles, you can do whatever makes the overall completion time shorter.)
I think that would result in a run that either doesn't use the Calculator, or only uses him late in the game. I realize that this would rule out all sorts of additional strategies (including the one that was just posted above this), but the resulting lack of grinding would probably be a plus (entertainment-wise), and I'm pretty sure a TAS would be able to do extraordinary things even within those limitations (especially if good luck manipulation is possible).
I saw a real-time playthrough of this on YT (no link because I'm lazy). Just search Final Fantasy Tactics MBO+ or something like that to find it. If the user was MoogleBoss, you found it. I found it very entertaining, and therefore agree with nitsuja's suggestion.

I also think that ratings for obsolete movies should count towards the percentage of total movies rated.
For those of you who get low ratings from me, just remember that I rarely, if ever, hold grudges. I love everyone on this forum, so I try to rate the movies objectively.

I've taken it one step further here. ;D
Six of the stages can be completed (can't do Bright or Ring), and many of the Cossack and Wily stages can be completed too. There is some ordering required however, such as Toad has to be before Dive.

Then why are bad games rejected here, when there clearly is a minority audience for them?
Nitpicking, but bad games aren't rejected. There are plenty of TASes of those published. What get rejected are TASes of games that (are deemed to) produce subpar TASes.
Anyways, that discussion has been held several times in the past. (Roughly, the two views are: 1) We should aim for quality and entertainment. 2) Every game deserves a TAS because somebody will have had played it and would probably want to see it TASed.)
You forget 3) Every game should have a TAS because this isn't just a site for TAS-able games; it's for TASes in general.

Lol, I like how at the end of every screen, one Mega Man just pauses to wait for the other. :D
@creothecann: Thanks! I'll try that when School's over today.

If this is going to be the huge project I think it is, I'll add a subpage to my homepage displaying which videos are on YouTube.
BTW, if you need help with Famtasia, I'm actually pretty good with it. If you need help, just let me know. ;)

I know this topic is old, but I think it'd be really cool to see one of these in action. Is there anything that could work within a reasonable amount of time (obviously discounting Lunar Pool).

*looks at Mega Man 2, realizing that the timing ends before the final hit is delivered by 1 or 2 frames*
That movie got accepted. So I see no reason to reject this one.
