The game moves slow, the graphics are quite dull, yet I enjoyed watching it. It might be because I played this a lot with my friend when I was younger. I remember always struggling at the 4th castle. >_< Good run although he moves veeeery slow. :P

That was some crazy stuff. :) Shaving off 105 frames just like that is quite awesome. Keep it up.

Does Sami have to collect all Mumbo Tokens to achieve 100% by the way?

Thanks for the avis, bkDJ. When will we see progress in your own run? EDIT: Just noticed the Mumbo's mountain part is outdated. :(

Very nice run, fast paced and well played. Short enough to not bore me. Yes vote.

Okay, this gets even weirder. After finally getting ahold of 19.2 (thanks Truncated), I replayed the 19.3 movie. It lags too. To summarize: Old movie plays fine in both version. New movie lags in both version. What the hell? :(

Awesome, finally done. I throughly enjoyed watching it, though I fast-forwarded on the bungy level. Great job on this, very entertaining and well executed. Yes vote.

Hmm... What version of Snes9x are you guys using, and what settings in it? Is WIP checked, up and down, etcetera? Also.. I suppose you are running windows? I don't know how to extract the video from that. Sorry.
Run it with 1.43 improvement v9. 1. Load the ROM. 2. Enable Multitap 5 3. Press 7 on your keyboard, "Joypad on #0" should appear. 4. Load the movie. Should work, else I have no idea what's wrong.

Just amazing, Sami. The route planning and execution was spotless. Running through all those razor blades without invurnability is so badass. Good job.

There are no seams in the second bowser room.

I've managed to find a second blj spot in the basement which seemed a lot more promising that the last, I managed to get 10 possibly 11 bljs but sadley it doesn't seem nearly enough and it doesn't even seem to reach the speeds that Mario can get at the 50 star door with the same amount since I tested the 50 star door slope and it only took 10 to be able to get past it... strange :(
Mind telling where it is? Detailed description would be nice.

Btw, what's the reason for the pauses eg. at 3:05, 3:08, 15:13 and 15:16? I can't visually see any reason for them.
To quote myself: "When I at any time stop movement and there is no reason for it (ie. bombing something), it's because I have to stop breaking blocks for a while, else the character will get a buckled head. This lasts for about 10 seconds, where he cannot break anything, so it is best to just wait a moment."

At 11:05 (in the avi) why can't you jump from the platform to the right, warping from the right edge of the screen to the left and thus to the door? Has this been disabled somehow in the game?
To be honest, that is plain stupidity from me. I guess not figuring the levels out yourself leaves its marks.

Good game, good TAS. Voting yes. Would be nice with some more description of the game itself though, I didn't understand what the goal of the game was really. Stage 14 featured a very disturbing level design, I might add.

Post subject: Problems with lag

Okay so I'm doing an improved version of my Link's Awakening glitched run. Problem is only, when I get to the nightmare battle, I get immense lag from each energy ball the Aghanim form shoots - the previous version didn't have this problem. Previous version was recorded on 19.2, the current one on 19.3. But as you all know, a movie file is just a bunch of input, so it's not a version difference. If it was, 19.3 wouldn't be able to playback the 19.2 file as it expected lag. Bad explanation, but I think you see what I mean. Only difference in the runs is a small trick I use to reduce unneccesary movement, saving around 20 frames. That's the only difference between the runs, but I don't see how it can cause any lag. :/ Old version: http://tasvideos.org/822M.html New version: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1098813513/Zelda.vbm Thanks in advance for any help.

I've seen odd bugd in other N64 games, like walls in Castlevania that block getting anywhere in the first level. There's a real possibility this guy had dust on the cartridge and it made stuff appear where it shouldn't.
Kinda like crooked cartridge on OoT? Perhaps we should ask him if he did it on the rom or console.
He said it was done on a console.
