I haven't made a TAS in a few years now, but from what I can remember:
1-4 are in-level states that just keep rolling, no real system here.
6-8 are key places in a level which I might need to go back to if I mess up or come up with an improvement.
9 is the start of the level.
0 is usually either a state really far back or one I use when I want to re-watch a specific point in read-only mode.

I'll confirm that the new TAS has been finished for a few days now. I've only given the m64 to a handful of people (mostly close friends and some of the hardcore Zelda speedrunners) and am waiting for the encode of it to be done before I submit it here.
Fucken ace man, can't wait to see it in its entirety.

Did you even watch ANYTHING of the movie? It's nothing like Bloob's TAS, and you would notice if you had watched it.
Uh would you care to show me big differences? Thanks.
In only the first five minutes, he takes a different path for the rupees, landing at 49 (which I guess isn't optimal), skips buying the deku stick and therefore listens to Kaepora Gaebora when leaving Kokiri Forest. I have no idea if any of this saves time though. In any case, I'm sure he was taking notes from Bloob's run, but to say he copy-pasted the input is just being ignorant.
I should say that I myself have no shame in completely replicating parts of a previous movie's input if I can't find any improvement when trying to obsolete it. I've done it for all movies I've obsoleted and I don't think there is anything wrong with doing so. So even if there are some sections, small or big, that he completely copied/replicated, I don't see anything wrong with it as long as he added some content of his own, which he apparently did.

The built in bias for "staff" and players is now removed. Everyone's votes are equal
So what current system is still there? There needs to be some kind of bias towards certain users. Compared to a newbie; an experienced player is more likely to have a better idea as to how entertaining and technically accurate a movie is. Purely because of the fact that they will have seen more movies and will have more hands on experience.
I agree on that the techincal vote should be biased towards experienced players. However, you need no experience to judge how entertainment a movie is. If you found it fun to watch, then I guess you should give it a high vote.

This is me playing and singing the last part of "Round Here" by Counting Crows. It's just 4 chords so it's very easy to play, it's the singing that is trickier. This was more a test to see how well my digital camera recorded singing, but it turned out pretty well so perhaps someone will enjoy it.
Sorry about my English and sorry about the small mess ups (at 0:31 and 1:06).
The original song can be found here, and the part I did from starts at around 3:06 in this video.
Gotta say, your singing was exceptional. :)

Haven't posted here yet, so I'm just gonna congratulate you on completing such an amazing run. :D Props to Tompa too for many great glitch findings. An amazing feat all-in-all, really.

Sorry for bumpies, but I am just wondering what happened to the MP3 version of JXQ's OoT commentary. Due to a rather unfortunate, frustration-at-my-hoarding-activities-motivated intentional near-wipe of my external hard drive, I lost all of my speedruns, and I am slowly restoring my collection.
However, now the link on the all dungeons OoT TAS to the commentary shoots me over to an Archive.org page, that offers the video fused with the audio. I already have the video, so was wondering if someone could link me to the MP3 version, as I find manually synching the two to be very easy.
Apologies if this is already viewable on one of the hundreds of pages of this thread, but I have not been a regular reader of it, and thus, have no idea whereabouts to start searching.
Peace and love,
