Each inventory is tracked separately. Just use someone else's and you'll be fine. There is a reason I never open the menu in my run with duran. The second I do it'll track him in the item inventory. If you haven't used the menu with a character yet it'll auto spawn on the alternate sprite menu. see here: http://www.youtube.com/user/lynbt?feature=mhum#p/u/30/jj9IH-6tuzc @ 2:20ish. I just walk to the trigger and b/c duran hasn't used the menu yet it defaults to faerie and i get by quickly. This makes duran my "sprite" user.

well you can weight SS' as you want, but I assure you that as a TAS you shouldn't rely off SS knowledge. I only bought the weapons before heading out to Genova, Bill&Ben, etc. And then don't buy them again til ice field. Killing on the island is rediculously slow (birds that have double HP, the eggs of the enemies and so on...) so I just avoid it at all costs.. While my run is not finished from the real point of view, the planning and all that I finished. If you guys can perform the double attack glitch with kevin/hawk all the time, they are probably the best. As for scales, they are really good for duran only, as his weapons and str count is soo high already. Def down is there to help out Hawk more and so on. So if your going to skip using Reisz for her stat down, hawk is going to suffer for a long time and Duran might be your man.

Hmm, I thought the Moon didn’t have any weakness, so the diffence down is necessary. Why do you think so?
The defence down shouldn't affect the battle too much if Kevin is properly glitched at the head. With 493 atk (wolf + boost, max attack) Kevin should wreck the god beasts. Dolan goes first BECAUSE of the lack of things to throw at him. Meaning he is weaker, HP is as low as it gets (along with defense, though i dont think defence changes much). Also his tower is easier to jump right to (for me). Defence down isn't necessary when your party is still weak and can't capitalize on it. Duran/hawk can't get a new sword until after gb1 (crap D= ) and Lise might be too unworth it to equip. Meaning at least 80% of your damage is from Kevin glitched. The def down on 493 atk power comparative to those bosses is ~30 damage. Thats about.. 10% of what he would be hitting. So atkframes/10 is how many you save per set of 2 swings. Defence down might not be worth it. The rest it pays off cause duran/hawk and lise can help out and lower the damage quotient of Kevin. Especially for hawk. But in a speed run game like this... Its unlikely (without excess grinding) that duran/hawk will be hurting Dolan for anything worth defence downing for.

I had a few choices in my own run. I originally (which turned out to be at about 6:30ish) class changed at lugar. It felt more "natural" and i was still ~20ish for gildervine easy. This second better attempt I said the last possible chance to class change is at the Mana holy land. There isn't much of a detour necessary to do anything. If you do it proper you have to skip Lise's weapon for gildervine in a by hand run (its near impossible to readily kill things). You can have better gold/exp to make this not a problem (I was only a few hundred luc short. NP for you I'm sure). So its possible to follow what I did and get a class change after lugar... with a small or little amount of farming. You want to get moon coins anyway... (gives lee way, and maybe get multiple, though outside of Archdemon using them would be tricky). Nothing is immune to lunatic/deadly weapon that i've found. So Moon coin is instant 1/5 hp + damage. My run right now at the mana holy land class changes there cause it has a few tight circle where i can do 4 fights against lv27 rabillions and Rabite kings (... yeah) where I walk away with ~2k exp in less than 2 minutes. And more luc than that. (Look it up Rabite type enemies are some of the better exp/luc ratios. and are easier to kill). Also, what is your god beast order going to be? Cause that is something that will be hard to figure out. I dont know if you are going to need to abuse Kevin's atk up glitch (which i'm sure you know about) everytime and as such, might need a different one from what could be a normal route. Mine is going to be: Moon, Wind, Light, Earth, Wood, Ice, Fire (Ice / Fire is a preference thing). This should put you (if you followed me) with defence down by Wind (Moon shouldn't need it, and your right by the damn god beast anyway for my story), and light is at the "best spot" otherwise cause Wind gets 4x hp boost per delay. So it might be a natural first for you, then moon. To get rid of high hp or non-exploitable enemies.

Hey I know i'm not probably going to be of much use to a tas'er but i've been playing this game for a real speed run. www.youtube.com/lynbt I came to the conclusion that the better party was Kevin, Duran, Lise. This is due to a few reasons of my choosing, such as the lack of levels leading to hawk's damage being pitiful to nothing (outside of bosses) by the time you hit golems x3. (since your wasting time if your above 13 by that time, and the str SHOULD be capped which still isn't good enough). Duran allows for monster killing/etc... Anyway stuff that I thought should be valuable to you... For some reason from my Jewel eater fight and on, I have been able to reliably trigger infinite techs, where I can repeatedly use Duran's techs (only durans). This might have to do with setting the AI to "NO TECH". Sorry I have no idea what the real cause of this infinite tech is, but if its only in that position then kevin should be able to abuse this glitch... Also, there is talk of a glitch for double hitters where you attack(hold) attack which causes a quad swing by abusing the AUTO attack script to enable then disable. Hawk is the easier person to pull this off. I mention this as it should increase your damage by a LOT. Kevin doesn't need scales for STR up (later fights) as his hit in werewolf auto casts it on him. Its a worthless endeavor. On Tzenker, just using wind saber on kevin/hawk should be enough to drop her before casting in your case. For dealing with Gorva, the best course of action might be using some SPIRIT on lise and casting the Light coins. It seems to mess with Gorva's AI and he tends to stay on the bottom more (not that you can't manip that, but its also damn good damage for the time). I am really hoping to see you micro the 3 players and be able to kill/move in ready fashion. Good luck! if you need more help I'll try to come back and check this thread out.

Sorry for digging this game out of the rumble, but i was looking to do a run on this on a console, and was wanting to do some emulator testing while looking at some memory values. Also use the game's maps to make maps. Hopefully to my benefit to make everything work well. So I was wonder for testing, if people could tell me what they are or how to find the following values in the RAM so i can trace values. Attack: Defense: Enemy HP(?): Xpos: [to test plat fort] Ypos: [to test plat fort] This is mostly to test if Power sources and Defense sources actually work as a +2 function, if they are permanent and a few other things. Cause i swear sometimes the sword does more than a morning star, even though the sword's attack is naturally lower. Thanks.
