After watching this one and the Luck Mode version, I am more convinced that Luck Mode is way better at handling this category, though because they're both similar after couple minutes, I guess they both fine? Either way, I am still more with Luck Mode version as it felt more enjoyable than this one, I'm voting Meh here.

Fair enough, but overall, this was enjoyable to watch. I guess I'll give Normal Mode a watch later.

Wow, that Shaft skip caught me off guard! That was a really great Pacifist TAS! Big Yes vote! I assume because of low level Wingsmashing wasn't at its full potential. I didn't watch Normal Mode yet, so I'm thinking is it more entertaining than Luck Mode? This one felt so good and fast paced for a Pacifist run, and seeing the other movie slower... I guess I have to watch and see.

Nice run! Constant stopping for speed charging was slightly less appealing but otherwise very well executed run. Yes vote!

I liked everything about this run. Stopwatch glitch and stairs glitch were a surprise. That was a fantastic run! Yes vote!

That's the part I wanted to see most! Actually, there's no way you can get two shots per cycle, right? Like if you fire the first Thunder Beam really early? If not, I almost wonder if Buster could be more productive there.
I never saw anyone getting two shots per cycle. Usually an Elec Beam would deal 4 damage, so it would be effective to use buster if we can deal 5+ damage. 5 damage will reduce number of cycles by 1. 6 damage would reduce it by 2. So it is promising to use buster.

Not sure but I think Zipless run would be better than a Glitchless run. The Yellow Devil fight taking longer than usual feels off from TAS standpoint, but that is just my opinion.

This doesn't make sense, there are no core changes between 2.8 and 2.9 Octoshock. Testing it myself, and I find no difference between 2.8 Octoshock and 2.9 Octoshock and Nymashock. Are you sure your controller configuration is identical between the two?
Try to check for Octoshock updates from 2.3 all the way to 2.8

To add to what HappyLee is reporting, I tested on BizHawk 2.3 and it didn't have the issue. I guess we should check what was updated in Octoshock up until 2.8 to see why.

Can't believe it has been over 10 years since I discovered the TAS myself, which was old even at the time xD

Definitely one of the greatest game end glitch TASes. The author also made a clean and simple explanation of what is going on. A strong Yes vote of course!

I actually crop them in AviSynth myself. Speaking which, shouldn't PS1 resolution be 320x240? I thought this is the target resolution.

I didn't expect a new TAS with the new glitches this early! I was going to make one at some point :D Gotta check this out asap! EDIT: That was crazy run. Yes vote definitely! Also, I made an encode cause I didn't notice Nicovideo and Bilibili encodes, but here is my YouTube one anyway :) Link to video
