So I have been working off and on for a TAS for Power Rangers Super Legends on the DS, developed by Handheld Games. Tbh, I don't care for playing this game, but I have been somewhat enjoying TASing it. That said, it got me wondering about the version developed by A2M (now bEhavior Interactive, most well-known for Dead by Daylight. Small world.), which was released for the PS2 and the PC. I wonder if it would be possible currently to make a TAS out of ''that,'' much less which version would be most feasible. Full disclosure: I haven't looked into PS2 and Windows TASing in detail, and I don't even plan on working on one for this game as of now. Maybe things will change by the time I do so; right now, I'm just curious more than anything. I'm thinking perhaps the PC version is more feasible. For starters, the PS2 version is... on the PS2, a console that still does not have a guide, much less a section on the Platforms page on this site, so TASes on that platform may still be impossible. Plus, that version runs at an unlocked 60 FPS, but often lingers around 30 FPS. As for the PC version, the game was released in late 2007 and was around the tail end of the XP era. However, raising it to PCem's max is as simple as editing a line in the engine.ini file. Problem is, I don't know if any valid PCem hardware configuration would be powerful enough to run the game that high, or if this change would disqualify a TAS. On the bright side, the game appears to have only a simple disc check DRM, and iirc PCem allows virtual discs to be inserted.

I wonder if a 100% TAS would be viable/interesting for this game. There might be some slight potential with routing for comics, but I wonder if the whole "two playthroughs" thing would bring too much repetition.
