First of all good job on submitting your first TAS!
While I don't know this game, the TAS seems highly optimized. I can't count how many different tricks I saw while watching the encode. All while listening to the crazy scale runs, you solve some levels without using the box, and the time control / pause tricks... very nice!
The only place I saw an improvement is "Stage" 2:20. After throwing the box to the final platform, you seem to push it a bit too much to the end. The gameplay and your strategy is way too fast to give any more detailed ideas :)
Obvious yes vote!

There is a youtube video which claims a lower time 04:53.101 while not using L+R (being slower by technical goal choice)
Link to video
It's only 2 weeks old, but this means there are improvable places in this submission.
Would vote no but I'm waiting for verification for this fact.

Not familiar with the romhack, so I checked current RTA WR
Link to video
Observations:
- This Romhack has very little additions if there are any compared to the original version of the game.
- This Romhack only removes levels instead of changing/increasing the entertainment and/or difficulty.
- Obvious no vote.

- The embed video doesn't loads, maybe the video is not allowed to be embedded?
- Absolutely no vote. Mario has a family to keep running and not in your eternal walking fantasy you call softlock, he calls unnecessarily forced destiny.

This submission has...
- An empty author name and (Additionally: 100th_Coin)
- Different username than publication OnehundredthCoin
edit
- Obsolete FPS in catalog
Is this a known issue?

Gave it a try myself, no success no matter how I try, He-mans legs or its heads get bumped because he is very slow...
- He-man not fast enough to get past the two walls without bumping in to either of walls after skipping one of them.
- Tried to get between two walls and manipulate "running animation frame" to be slim while vertically positioning
- Best attempts were getting hit collision on frame 5277. Bottom route seems wider opening than top route but not enoguh opening for He-man
But thanks for trying as well!

Short and looked fun to me. Yes vote.
Based on the youtube encode, at Section 2 it looks like there is 2 potential opening of the first two walls on the top and the bottom.
https://imgur.com/a/PbNiaME
edit:
- the bottom route shows the frame where you could start going through the 1st wall and then the 2nd wall, probably slower because Skeletor being too high
- the top route shows the 4 bullet frame to see deadzones and the frame where you could start going through the 1st wall and then the 2nd wall, probably faster because optimal Skeletor position
I guess you tried these, but lets make it sure.

- This post I'm writing is mostly intended for the staff, you don't need to do anything with this currently.
- This site (TASVideos) has a rule of: Users are strictly prohibited from posting references to copyrighted material (such as ROM or BIOS images)https://tasvideos.org/SiteRules#LegalIssues
- While this can be interpreted as many ways and there's a note about rules not set in stone,
- I think a submitter should respect this rule as long as it's inside their own controllable domain: the submitter linking his own Youtube video with a ROM in description is his own controllable domain. It's fine if the ROM link was shared outside of his domain (comments on youtube, a forum of a site (Speedrun.com 👀 👀 👀) )

Never played this game or heard before, but I see very low effort in optimizing.
- You make seemingly random derails right at the very start of the game instead of going straight forward
- Jumping the same platform twice 0:15 0:16
- Inconsistent speed maintaining and seemingly non perfect route to traverse the floating platforms. You seem to be trying to jump everytime you can and thinking in lowering the number of jumps. You could have try passing platforms by skipping them, falling on to them from higher place to lower place, jumping over multiple platforms, etc.
- Not going straight to checkpoint 0:43
- All jumps looks time wasters 0:50
- Last input is definitely over the minimal required input (standing on the platform if I understand)
Obvious no vote.

The submission note links to a youtube video which
- has a link to the speedrun.com game page which hosts the original game ROM for whatever reasons
- description includes a direct ROM download link
I have very mixed feelings about this.

Well...
With only the knowledge of SummoningSalt videos and watching adelikat's old TAS back in the day, I started the video and than started skipping content and watch the fighters.
Never played the game so the only thing I saw was custom fighters while the game being the same.
I went to google to find a website straight from 2001 with worse than Space Jam webdesign, so I'm just going to say:
- I think this hack has very little changes to offer alongside the original game
- I don't see any technique being different, it's like the same TAS with differently looking enemies
I get a feeling this hack is mostly cosmetic with very little if any other changes made. Obvious no vote.
Side note: I've also read the submission text albeit don't know what did it said about NTSC or PAL.

How the database created: the author is a known archivist, specializing in C64 and Floppies. The physical copies came from a wide ranges of sources. The entries (the database) are uploaded to other C64 communities.
The link is fine, it's already the new domain. I'm pretty sure the database is reliable and will stay for a long time.

I haven't worked on this since my last post and I believe neither Lucky Bacon. Despite it looks "simple" to continue and finish our collaboration, I think the TAS is not hex edit friendly and it would take much more time to incorporate it (as I've tried) in to the original submission.
My own personal opinion would be accept the original submission for the reason of currently known fastest TAS to complete the game. The improvements being added is a quest for the future.
This being said, I guess Lucky Bacon the original author should also chime in.

I saw the timezone issue mentioned on the tracker, but I'd like to point out also that I can't distinguish Australia/Sydney and Australia/Brisbane in the current list; both are currently listed as "(UTC+10:00) Australian Eastern Standard Time", but Australia/Sydney has DST and Australia/Brisbane doesn't.
There is a very odd glitch which I haven't been able to reproduce.
According to this particular FAQ https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/nes/587679-disneys-talespin/faqs/56997
GLITCH - LAST BOSS TELEPORT
(MESHUGGAH: Teleporting to final boss from previous boss by dying at the same time as the boss)
This has only happened to me once. When fighting Don Karnage, I died at the
same time as I beat him. First Baloo parachuted just like normal, and I got
taken back to the beginning of the level. Then the screen faded out and I got
directly taken to the Iron Vulture. It's a pretty interesting little glitch,
but I doubt it can be used for anything.

WHAT IS THAT SKIP OMG! And I've thought that SNES Contra glitch (picking up powerup while dying) is a one of a kind glitch.
Congrats on the improvements! I don't see any potential improvements by watching the encode apart from the possibilities of powerups on the longer levels. I didn't had to check powerups, but I've thought there could be a lot of them spread on that 2 level which is very long, namely the train level and the next or previous level.
Good job!
