It's in the video description on YouTube. N64 v.1.0 and v.1.1.

OK. Cool then. I thought about it because there was a disscusion about ISG from deku stick on B button earlier on this thread, but it was more like emulation error rather than version difference (it works on emulator, Virtual Console and GameCube but not on N64). Sorry about that. I'm curious if real time speedrunners will use it in 100%. And unfortunately I don't think there will be a 100% TAS in work for some time so we don't have to worry about that yet :(

It's a version specific trick. I don't want to start another stupid discussion in this thread, but I don't think it should be allowed (but it's just my opinion).

OK. I watched the whole run and I must say there is some very impressive stuff in later parts, too bad the beginning wasn't that great. There are some great strats, maybe some of them will be used when someone will run 100%. Too bad I didn't see any improvements for any%. I can't wait 'till somebody will start doing any% TAS, it will be really hard to make, but amazing to watch.

I used to run this game and I watched first two parts. This TAS was really boring, and for most of it it doesn't even look like a TAS. It uses very bad strats, the route is really old and level of optimization is minimal. I would call it a tool assisted let's play and I don't really recomend watching it. But the game has been mentioned and I have a question. Is there any way to currently TAS this game. PSCX2-rr sucks and Hourglass doesn't support mouse. If TASing this game will become possible, I can help for sure :)

I prefer speedruns rather than playarounds, but that's just me. First do a TAS and then worry about whether it gets published or not.

Wow. Will you be using route from George's 4:25 real-time speedrun or you will create your own?

So it is some kind of lag reduction, right? Interesting, never knew about it.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think if you end competition right after combo, the notes are very low, but if you do another trick, game recalculates points faster, so you can end your run sooner.

Yes vote! Great planning and awesome TAS. Game objectives are also cool.

http://kb.speeddemosarchive.com/Super_Mario_Galaxy_2 IMO Luigi run would be much more interesting because of some nice tricks Mario can't do.

All this warping to skip most of the game makes me wonder if it will ever be possible to perform in Majora's Mask. Sure it has plenty of glitches, but the run is still rather conventional in that it beats all dungeons.
Fairy Fountain Wrong Warps is as also breaking the game in similar fashion but they work completly different. I don't think we can do something with warps after boss fights because they are also working completely different in these games and you need four mask to activate the ending. I can't imagine how you could stop warp when you still must read "You got the mask text" and without Ocarina Items glitch.

This is the greatest TAS on this site. Greatest game ever beaten in 20 minutes. Great job SwordlessLink!
