We have great news - the one thing that did go well during rehearsal was a complete NES Classic resync of Gradius (adelikat's run resynced by link_7777, replete with a spirited attack against the volcano that caused the AGDQ 2014 desyncs) . We are exploring the option of making it a donation incentive, but that will only happen if the schedule is not too far behind and we can demonstrate that we will not be running over.
If it's allowed to be a donation incentive if they have the time for it please call it The Revenge of the Gradius TAS. (I will never stop requesting that name)
+1 for Revenge of the Gradius TAS... lol.

You already verified the warps run, and I thank you for that. It would be good to see if the current 96 exit and small-only runs could be verified. Post #424582
No problem, I can get on that around 730 CST.

Hey all, I'm mostly a lurker, but I thought I'd let you know I can verify that your Super Mario World runs will work on a SNES. Sometime last year I obtained the means to run TASes on my SNES, with the help of true from the IRC chat. So far I've only been doing Super Mario World runs, but they all work like a charm provided there's only one controller's worth of input. Let me know if you'd like a run verified, and I'll get to you about it. -dama

I run lsnes with Wine, and when I press the save state button I get this error message: Save failed: Failed to open '/movieslot1.lsmv.tmp': Permission denied What am I doing wrong?
You don't have a save path set. In any case, the bug of it not working without a save path set should now be fixed in the latest version.
noob question: how do I set a path for lsnes?

I have asked micro500 to weigh in but I'm totally on board with having pdrcr be the spokesperson for TASBot. I want to give micro500 a chance to review this before making a decision as micro500 has historically also helped out with maintaining Twitter.
Sweet! Thanks :D

I would love to help, and I think the way I'd help the most would be with TASbot Twitter. I'm already very active on Twitter and ran multiple accounts back when I did PR for my band (@thelooongshot @goodfightmo). Let me know what you need from me, and what resources I'd need -dama1138 from IRC Edit: changed the first Twitter username to the right one
