oula l'assembleur ca fait 10 ans que j'en ai plus fait :( c'est vraiment loin :p mais j'ai tenté cette manip mais je sais absolument pas ou commencer dans le code assembleur ^^'

Comme l'a dit Grincevent, prend déjà en main l'émulateur, les saves states et le frame par frame et l'enregistrement de vidéo. Le ram Watch viendra après. Personnellement avec Bizhawk il m'a fallu un bon moment pour comprendre comment enregistrer les movies et ne pas perdre ce que j'avais fait.

non le ram Watch ca te permet de voir l'état de la mémoire du jeu, et chaque jeu à sa mémoire. Pour faire simple c'est la dedans que tu vas pouvoir trouver des informations comme les coordonnées de ton personnage dans le niveau, son level, ses hp , les hp des ennemis, l'atk de tes armes etc. Le plus dur étant de trouver dans la mémoire où trouver ses informations.

non c'est pas indispensable du tout :) c'est un outil surpuissant pour qui sait s'en servir mais juste avec l'option de l'émulateur pour jouer image par image tu peux faire un bon tas.

les lua, ce sont des petits bout de programme informatique qui te permet d'afficher des choses supplémentaires à l'écran. Je t'invite à regarder dans la section snes pour le jeu terranigma dans les dernieres pages tu as une vidéo qui te renseignera. Mais là c'est vraiment du lua très poussé, ce n'est pas n'importe qui qui peut le faire. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MSgFhoUifY Les Lua te permettent d'afficher les informations que tu verras sur la gauche de l'écran.

pour faire un TAS basique oui y'a pas mal d'infos déjà dispo sur le site ou le forum. Par contre si on essaie d'élever un peu le niveau y'a des trucs qui manquent d'infos. Par exemple j'ai pas mal cherché comment utiliser le lua pour programmer des hitbox mais j'ai pas trouvé l'info. J'ai trouvé des scripts mais sans commentaire explicatif avec c'est pas évident :p Autre exemple qui me vient en tête, la recherche du rng d'un jeu en utilisant le memory Watch. Je me doute bien que y'a pas de méthode 100% sur mais je pense que doit y'avoir des méthodes plus efficaces que d'autres.

Well I pick up games I played younger. I always thought that this game was well known. I tend to pick up SMS games since if think it's will be easier to tas and the games are short so the video won't be too long.

Starting level 7 there's no need for any more gold bags. The one I'm collecting are the one from boss where I have to otherwise I will lose time exiting the stage (level 10 boss comes in mind and i thi,k it's the only one)

Well did the magic testing a while ago so my memory is a bit fuzzy. Can only try to remember by using the note i made at the time. First thing is that the only weapon woth using is the thunder as stated in the submission because it stack with the thunder. The thunder can either make 1 damage or the same damage you will be doing using the sword. Another thing about the thunder is that it affect the whole screen. The bomb and the tornado need to be aimed and it's a real pain in the ass. The fireball go in a straight line since the moment you use it and goes for the boss head. But it can easily miss if the boss moves. Here is what I wrote about 2 boss fight and the weapon damage Level 3 boss (pink knight) bomb = 1 damage sur pink knight fireball = 2 damage sur pink knight thunder = 2 damage sur pink knight level 7 boss (the one who gives you the sword) bomb = 1 damage Tornado = 3 damages fireball = 3 damages thunder = 6 damages (with punch) I also tried a run without getting the 2nd sword (the hidden boss in level 5) but it leads to not having the legendary sword and you'll make really crappy damage against the last boss and they got a huge stack of HP I hope that gives you enough infos

Thanks adelikat, it worked and Highness, it's getting thunder is not worth it frame wise. The frame spent getting the thunder doesn't cut it for the last boss fight. I'll probably submit the movie tonight or tomorrow.

Well I tried to submit the movie but the site won't let me use the submission form. I'm going to tasvideos.org, log in. Then on the log in page I'm clicking submit movies and then I'm redirected on the step by step instructions page who ask me to log in again. I tried with both Internet Explorer and Google Chrome but same result ...

yup will do but I was wondering if there's anything I'm doing wrong since I've run into a lot desync. Maybe it's because I'm loading savestates too quickly or switching between too much ?

still working on it but got less time since holidays are over. remade it from scratch and manage to get to level 7. I've Improved the 2nd sword fight, and manage to manipulate to boss so I can stuck him in the corner. yeah will be better :p but I'm kinda stuck, wanted to try to make some hitbox for the enemies & boss and try to get the rng addresses to better manipulate the drop but I cannot manage to find the correct addresses. About the rng, the only thing I found was that it seems to be either frame based or input based, or both. The level design start at 1000 addresses and each byte represent a 16*16 pixel square. The only way I found to know if the square is blocking or not was to change the value at the corresponding offset and see if the hero fall through it But in the second level the value change.
