Is it possible to configure one of the buttons on a gamepad to Frame Advance? I can configure all the other buttons, but I can't get FA to be configured to one of the gamepad buttons, as it won't register in the hotkeys section.

It depends on what gamepad you're using. I'm using a Logitech gamepad, and I have this program that allows me to assign gamepad-buttons to keyboard buttons. So I've bound frame advance to the "A" button on my keyboard, and in turn, bound the "L1" button on my gamepad to "A". A funny effect on this in that when I press L1 on my gamepad while writing something, like this post, I write the letter A. :) If you don't have such a program that I have, I don't really know what you should do... You could try erokky's program, or get your hands on one of the better Logitech gamepads, they usually come with the program that I have, I think. Good luck.

Joy2Key works with any joystick/controller. Binds keyboard keys to joystick buttons: http://www.electracode.com/4/joy2key/JoyToKey%20English%20Version.htm
