Just out of interest i looked at BoMF's profile under 'list all posts'. I looked at his most recent compared to his oldest. A chain of declining relevance is very obvious.

I agree with Bisqwit. Most of his posts are useless (and funnyless) oneliners. I like comic relief, but BoMF isn't it.
The other day my dad told me he thought watching Curb Your Enthusiasm was like watching paint dry.

I'll never understand the increasing amount of interest in someone who 90% of the time contributes nothing to the topics he posts in. *agrees with Truncated in that it's just not funny*

I don't understand why this topic keeps coming up. If you discount everything that's posted in the "Off topic" forum, most of his posts (80%+, it looks like) are directly saying something relevant about the topic at hand. And the ones that are completely off-topic tend to be near or in response to already-off-topic posts (which there are a lot of in the N64 games forum, for example).

I enjoy reading Bag's posts. They are not always useful but always funny in some sense. He brings entertainment to this forum which I think is a great thing. :-)

I don't mind Bag. He's not particularly funny, either... lots of forums have a guy whose attention seeking makes them more a target for abuse than respect. Nitsuja's comment was accurate, I think. He's usually on topic when he should be. His perceptions are probably more the result of the sheer volume of his postings.

I find Bag's posts annoying. So many of his posts are just stupid jokes that when he actually has something to say I can't be sure whether he is being serious or not. The quadruple sarcasm he always wraps his posts in doesn't help either.

I can't believe so many people are this opinionated about the situation. Especially since I don't really give a damn, and I'm always bitching about something.

Every forum needs exactly 1 BagOfMagicFood.
g,o,p,i=1e4,a[10001];main(x){for(;p?g=g/x*p+a[p]*i+2*!o: 53^(printf("%.4d",o+g/i),p=i,o=g%i);a[p--]=g%x)x=p*2-1;}

After looking at dozen threads in the SNES and NES games forum, I agree with Nitsuja. Most of what BoMF posted was on-topic and helpful. I'm getting the impression that most people's views of his posts (including mine) are skewed.

Then this would be ebaumsworld/gameFAQs/nintendo forums, and no one of intelligence would stick around.

Which is kind of scary, I guess, since on lots of other forums I post on I'm about a silly as Bag of Magic Food. Maybe. Possibly. I dunno. But that might mean we are only one fluke away from total destruction of everything TAS! (Or not.) Personally, I enjoy BoMF's jokes enough of the time to like having him around. :)

Well, don't get me wrong. I appreciate Bag's input, and I do find him funny sometimes. However, it does get really annoying when an otherwise straightforward thread gets an unecessarily useless post from Bag in it.
