I haven't worked on this in a while, my mind's been on other stuff, but I'm going to finish it! I started work on it again yesterday and now have level 5-1 completed. Let it run for a few seconds after the movie ends and you'll see that I killed the boss so fast (he wasn't fully on the screen yet) that the game glitches and leaves part of his sprite (still shooting at me) on the screen. Pretty amusing. http://www.crookedstep.com/abadox.fcm

Heh, very impressive dodging. I'm inclined to vote yes on what I've seen so far.

well, level 5-2 is completed, but it comes at a price, i lost my re-record count. it reset to 7 about halfway through level 5-2 when i accidentally re-recorded over the entire thing and then used a save state to bring it all back. anyway level 5-2 is absolutely insane, as you'll see. this shit is virtually impossible to do in real time, it's virtually impossible even at 50% speed. If anyone questions why i use frame advance for a movie like this when slow speed might suffice, shit like this is the reason. (plus collision detection abuse) anyway the boss. another one that i kill faster than you'd think possible. he's invulnerable for quite a few frames even after the screen stops scrolling and he starts shooting you, unlike the eyeball/anus boss i didn't have to START shooting on the frame AFTER he becomes vulnerable, so i just had my first shot hit him on the first frame he can be hurt. http://www.crookedstep.com/abadox.fcm

Good job! And only one more level to go if I remember right...
I am just a silhouette, a silhouette of a memory of a solitary night .. nothing more.

I found this game today and it was pretty fun really. If it seems like a good game for TASing I'll look to see if I can get a run together...

It's an autoscroller. I don't usually consider those good candidates, though Gradius was pretty good, so what do I know? ;)

Yes that was one big thing I found with it. Other than that it's fairly good though.

Same with the majority of the members, I think. I enjoy them though, they don't bother me any.

http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4290 A run was already made, submitted, and rejected. Pretty good run, too. A new run will have a very slim shot of being published.

Nevermind then, sorry for bringing this up.
