Well, the way I see it, emulator movies are like magic tricks. They look like they're played for real, but they're not, and you know that. You don't shout out to the magician, "Hey, you cheated! My buddy told me how you really did it!" No, you just think to yourself, "Wow, that guy is pretty good at fooling me into thinking something impossible happened," and enjoy the show.

That's a fun way to think of it, although it still suggests a pinch of trickery. But I like the analogy of "making the impossible possible."

What I don't like about it is that it makes it sound like we are performing miracles (i.e. things that should NEVER happen) when we are actually performing marvels (i.e. things that are possible but highly improbable.)

That doesn't sound too good. It's more than just probable, since with save states, you have a 100% chance of being able to do something improbable. A more accurate slogan would be something like "Time Attack: Making the Improbable Occur!" (btw I don't like that slogan too much either)
Anyway, for the disclaimer, how about something like "This movie was made using the gameplay perfecting tools of the NES emulator Famtasia to enhance its entertainment value."
I think this disclaimer would make it kind of obvious that it's not legit, and it would be clear that the word "tool" isn't just referring to the emulator, but rather something that makes it easier to play the game. I think this would be enough to avoid any confusion, but it wouldn't bore people with so many details either, and the people who are interested in the details can go to the site.
Edit: Btw, in the disclaimer I suggested, it might be better to replace "to enhance its entertainment value." with "and was made for entertainment purposes only." I'm not sure which would explain the purpose better.
You guys should also put an FBI Warning Disclaimer, and the Interpol Disclaimer, and some commercials before it, and some previews of other runs, and a gift card promo.
What are you talking about? Those movies should be rated at least R! Do you really think kids will be able to handle all the blood and gore when Mario viciously murders a goomba?
In that case, we need it to say that people under 18 can't watch the movie, so it should flash for about half a minute at the begining saying that.
