Here's version 3, which was made possible by a huge shortcut in Toon Town suggested by nitsuja.
  • uses FCEU
  • aims for fastest time
  • uses death as a shortcut
  • manipulates luck
I redid the whole movie, and managed to hit the toon town tunnel 200 frames before my previous version. This time I don't have to stop when driving, because I got lucky with the toon patrol. The fight with Doom is better, and I don't think can get any better unless somehow someone can manage to start hitting him right as he is backed against the wall. That way he won't get out of range causing you to stop. (also, thanks to Rick for the spring shoes trick)

adelikat: Rejecting. This movie has gotten many poor comments and is rather dull to watch. The playing was good but seems it isn't enough to overcome the games lack of entertainment. I encourage the author to find a game more suitable for an entertaining TAS.

Hi, thanks for watching the movie. Death is used to avoid having to get the items that lure the animals away from the things their guarding. so a mouse would need a piece of cheese, a dog needs meat, etc. It is faster to die than to go get these items. Its impossible to avoid running into cars only in toontown in some places where the road is wider. Otherwise its impossible. I did my best to manipulate the cars to turn so they didn't hit me. The biggest improvements to this i could think of are a complete route change, which would mean mapping out where the random items are placed for a bunch of games. Even pressing start at the same frame can lead to different item placements. The item placement in this movie is pretty good, but I have yet to try the one that is seen on the SDA route. As of now I am not all that eager to do that, because interest in this TAS has seemed to die out after the initial requests to see this one.

Again all my questions are answered and it explain it. Have not know this game so I have not know some things. But now I understand the reasons and voted yes. Another question was the shortcuts with the car. Have think it is possible to take some more, but this question was already answered in this topic. So no open questions anymore and now the movie looks great planed and well done.

I'll vote 'Meh', because you spent more time traveling between places than doing things (which is not your fault), and the only interesting part in the run was the Doom fight.

Im going to vote "Meh". I didn't really enjoy the movie, but I didn't hate it. It was played well, but a boring game(and silly). Also, I think it was I who framed roger rabbit.

ditto though we can't complain about a game being silly seeing how we have 2 runs of mc kids, the little mermaid, & rockin kats to name a few.
It's hard to look this good. My TAS projects

How can you say MC Kids and Rockin' Kats are silly games? They're awesome! RK has the amazing punch glove that can do ANYTHING and MC Kids has awesome levels and lots of stuff to find. Anyway, I'm voting meh on this for reasons already mentioned by a lot of people.

I liked this run and I'd like to see it published so I'm voting yes.

I voted no. I was pretty bored throughout the run and it seems it seems improvable. You didn't seem to use the whistle as early as possible some places, car handling could have been better, it didn't even seem like frame perfect and it was pretty boring run. Now my head hurts even more...

omg.. This is why the vault tier should have existed long ago. I have this game and did beat it as a kid. I still vaguely remember the best code should be LDHHH...HHH3B or so :P My god it was retarded then and still is now, but I think it fits perfectly with the idea that someone out there would have value for it to watch. I mean, someone had value to create the TAS in the first place. But damn, all this was seven years ago :P I found it today because it was published and made it to youtube and I appreciate it :) And now I how how the submission number can be lower than the publication number by >1000 :P

Shouldn't the game region be "USA" instead of "U", like all the other runs on the (specifically) American version on this site?
