Yes, great done to this point. So less time played and already get so much different souls. Wow. I myself love it to complete such games 100%. So I want every item and soul. I never use Frame Advance to get all souls. But sometimes when it takes to long I try it with Save State. So I load sometimes so often to get a soul till it work. Great luck manipulation. This will be a great movie, when it holds the perfection like now. Can't wait to see much more.

Wow. That is unbelievably impressive. Keep it up! One question: why were you walking in the Zombie room?

Are you serious? I feel bad for Atma's 100% WIP...

As much as I may disagree with the use of hard mode, I can't complain in regards to the quality of the run itself. Good deal.

Wow! Am I in the right forum? Anyway, thanks! I'll try to make it as close to perfection as I can. About Atma's 100% run, it will be in normal mode, so his strategy will be completely different from mine. You know that his runs are always great, so don't worry! =P About my walking in the Zombie room... what did you want me to do without any abilty soul?

Um... oh yeah. :P By the way, I noticed that you declined to kill that White Dragon in the room you went through... where do you plan to get its soul later on?

White Dragon has 95HP. It's way too strong for my Lvl 2. I'll get it at Dance Hall, I think.

I think is was good, that you not get the soul in this small room. When you would do it, you must wait so long, till you can leave the room. So all longer rooms are better when hunting for souls. Then you can move on without waiting. Ok, it will not work with all souls. But I think most can get in longer rooms without waiting.

PS, will you get this run submitted? Iirc using sram was not allowed in almost any case. (unless it unlocks a secret character, like Julius) Also, i'd have 1 tip for entertainment. To me it would be nice and entertaining if you'd get the soul from an enemy from the first one you encouter and destroy. In other words, you get the skeleton soul from the first skeleon you destroy, etc. ANd you did not answer my question yet :P Is your version of backdashing faster?

Maybe its entertainment, but it will be slower. I think he try hard to manipulate the soul drop, and I think too, that it is sometimes faster when you not do it by the first enemie which you see. Like I say before by the White Dragon. The room is so small and if he would manipulate his soul it would take longer when he must wait at the right side before leave the room. And like pirate_sephiroth say his Level is so low. Later he will defeat this enemie faster and must maybe not wait so long in a bigger room for the soul. So I think he should do it like now and find the best solution for all souls. Not the first, the fastest soul is important I think or the movie would be longer at the end. And when the movie is shorter its much more entertainment as when its to long.

True. True. Did not think about the "stronger enemies" part too.

I think getting 100% souls is crazy enough of a goal without having to do it the first time you meet an enemy. It also allows for more strategic planning, and it will make play smoother if you can careen through a room filled with enemies and souls are flying into you like the X from Metroid Fusion.

If he gets an enemy's soul either the first or within the first few times he encounters the enemy, I assume the only reason it'll be slow is due to all the dialog that explains the enemy soul, but the speed could be made up by using combinations of other souls (use every strength increasing soul as you get it, for example). Looking forward to the run, and Atma's run!

I was planning to get the souls from every first encounter with the enemy, but, due to luck issues, that's impossible sometimes. There are dumb souls that are extremely rare, like Blue Crow and Ghost. And some rooms are better than others in what concerns to randomizing things. So I will try to find the optimal moment for each case. And I submitted my previous run without problems, so this one will be accepted. SRAM would be a problem if it contained some cheat or something that would make the TAS easier. And here that's just the contrary. And... my backdashing is a little more efficient.

Post fixed. Anyway, seeing two 100% movies can't be for the worse. ;) I haven't seen nor couldn't turn it up with a fast forum search. Care to throw me a link?

Also includes Death's Scythe, I think... luckiest weapon in the game, if I remember?

Luckiest? What do you mean? It's a strong weapon, but it's element is Dark, so it's cool, but not really useful.

Death's Scythe increases your Luck Stat, as do Ghost Dancer's or Gremlin's Soul. Higher LCK stat generally means you have an easier time getting souls, but since you're manipulating luck anyway it may not make a huge difference. But you should at least test it out, using it might make things a bit easier on your end. Maybe.

Well, AFAIR, Death's Scythe is a somewhat slow weapon compared to say, Final Guard's sword. It *may* help in luck manipulation, but it certainly *will* slow the process down.

Yeah, that's why I thought it would only make things easier on the runner's end, but it probably won't make the movie faster. The Germlin soul, though, might be worth considering, unless there's another yellow soul he'll need to use at all times.

Hmm... I will try to use as many different souls as I can, I'll be forced to use Lubicant to increase my stats , and Rune Ring to increase MP recovery rate. Since I'll need some LUCK boost, and I won't be able to use other enchanted souls or accessories, I'll think about the Scythe. But it'll probably require me to enter the menu several times more... and that would make the run really boring...
