How do you save and reset while recording a movie? Doing so is necessary for the optimal time.

You'll have to hard reset using the drop down menus. Not too many 64 games have soft-resets.

I just tried recording a short movie and resetting in the middle. It didn't work; the movie just stopped recording when I reset the ROM :(.

Yeah, I think the file format will have to be changed somehow for the emulator to scan for a reset input.

The spec says there are some unused bits, but right now there is no reset command.

Yeah, I remember that... If someone can confirm that those bits are actually never used and not just used for some esoteric purposes in some games, then you should be able to use one of those bits as a "Reset" command. But everybody would have to switch to a new emulator version for movies with resetting to work.

Well, tough beans. Acryte is going to have to wait a while.

I don't care for using resets, really. Real men slam the power button between on and off so quickly that the system creates a mode that is both on and off. I call it 'the matrix'.
