This game is a classic for people who played it back then. It can be done in less than 10 mins i'm pretty sure, but there's nothing incredible to do on it, it would be pure timeattack (unless you kill all enemies before they appear on screen, kinf of guessing where they appear). The music is good and it'd be so quick that it wouldn't be boring to watch ;)

old old topic. Ok i made a test movie that finishes it in 7:32 it uses a little glitch that is only seen in the last 5 seconds of themovie, but it saves 3 minutes. But it's just a test movie, it's not optimized. It would be cool if there were more shortcuts to be taken, then it'd be pretty interesting for submission. http://www.angelfire.com/ex/uobt/captaincomic-v4.zip

It looks pretty optimized already to me. Dear lord the music in this game is awful. Taking old classics and playing them in ever-changing octaves over a NES does not sound good.

I found a video from 2007 that shows what looks like a memory corruption glitch caused by jumping out of bounds at the beginning of the space level. Maybe there are ACE possibilities. Link to video
