Goal

This TAS plays through 10 loops of the game's 2 stages, as after that is when the loop counter stops incrementing. The manual describes how the difficulty increases with each loop, but it's not so explicit on how difficulty increases after loop 8. However, it's evident to me from making this TAS that the fish on stage 2 definitely snap with increasing frequency up until the 10th loop.

General Movement

It is faster to jump for left/right movements and to walk for up/down movements.

Stage Skips

In stage 1, you can jump into the cliff right before the bridge and get a big bounce off of it. If done correctly, you'll bounce back over the previous ledge and land on thin air. At this point, the game still thinks you can climb up the ledge beneath. Once you do so, you'll enter a glitched state where you can simply jump twice to the right, which will land you on top of the cliff past the waterfall.
In stage 2, with a precise jump, you can jump from the second row of fish into one of the inset ledges further to the right and pull yourself up, saving some time. You can also skip having to jump up the two ledges at the end of the stage with a single precise jump from the left side.

nymx: Claiming for judging.

Love that "!" that appears on the tenth loop, as if the game itself is surprised you got this far. (Incidentally, it seems like every trick in the TAS could be theoretically reproduced by human players to use for breaking score records as well given the timed nature of the screen bonuses; the 150K-ish score you would be ending with beats the current TG record on console.) I wonder if that "!" would appear in the score counter if you hit a million points ... anyway, I'm rambling. Yes vote. :)
