Submission Text Full Submission Page

CoolHandMike: Claiming for judging.
CoolHandMike: This submission is being rejected for a couple reasons.
1) Submission is Incomplete. While I was able to go through the full movie by first going through the linked movie file, it was necessary to load up the second movie with a save state. The submitted file to tasvideos should be a single movie file. The tas this submission is intending to replace, [5911] Genesis Sonic Classic Heroes "Team Hyper" by ShiningProdigy9000 in 26:40.28, shows that no additional save states were necessary to play through the whole game.
2) Optimization. The first movie is 52324 frames, and the second movie is 84494 frames for a total of 136,818 frames. However the second movie also includes the ending which starts in the late 60K, around frame 70000 frame-ish. However even that still puts this movie as longer than the current movie. The currently accepted [5911] Genesis Sonic Classic Heroes "Team Hyper" by ShiningProdigy9000 in 26:40.28 has a total frame count of 95893.
In the future please include the full movie when submitting, and only submitting if it beats existing publications.
Also make sure to truncate your tas on the final input necessary.
This submission is Rejected for being Incomplete and for Optimization reasons.

Why are there multiple parts linked in the submission?

Because I wasn't entirely sure about doing the Sonic 2 part, but in the end I did it.

Pretty sure the submission isn't valid with it not being a complete GMV. TAS Movie Editor can be used to combine the inputs of the two movies to make one whole one. As mentioned in the previous thread, the closest comparison for improving upon is #8919: ShiningProdigy9000's Genesis Sonic Classic Heroes "Team Hyper" in 26:40.28, where this is now ~4 minutes slower. I don't think there is enough of a difference between Team Super and Team Hyper to have as separate goals.

Yes, but on my channel you can see the encoding of only the first part and you can see that I select s1 only Link to video

TAS Movie Editor allows you to change that.
