Helltaker is a freeware indie puzzle game from vanripper about creating a harem with some sharply dressed demon women.
As this is a unity game the command line "-force-gfx-direct" is requried to boot into the game.
Also this game is Native 1080p. stares at encoders
The movement, is right up the same as RTA as movement can be done on every 11 frames and not every frame in say Baba is You meaning that in RTA play you can get some pretty low times.
It's not always 11 frames. Every time a conversation is initiated, it's every 15 frames... bar where you have to select your option, then it's a few more frames than 15 (which I totally remembered to calculate).
However there is one sequence of input that doesn't make sense in comparison to the RTA record holder NormDanchik.
NormDanchik was able to get through the last conversation with Judgement faster than our input. We do not understand what's happened here, and there's no early input that can be placed here because as stated before, dialogue is every 15 frames (suspecting Linux vs Windows is behind this shenanigans.).
Anyways. The TAS in RTA timing is around a 4:33.717.
Info Teddy joined in on the Helltaker TAS cause she heard pancakes as a way to create a harem and she wanted to see what all the fuss is all about.

slamo: Claiming for judging.
slamo: Well that's an interesting game. The time is not terribly different from the RTA record, but it does still beat that time, and the gameplay is not trivial. Accepting!

Yes vote! Looks like it's a Sokoban game with traps and questions and then it goes "bullet-hell" or at least "move from danger zone" gameplay. And there's hell and anime girls.

16660 frames is close enough.

This game does not really lend itself to tasing very well. No glitches and all the solutions look exactly the same as with a casual playthrough as far as I can tell. Good music and nice graphics so Meh, otherwise it would be a No.

I agree, this doesn't look meaningfully different from a non-TAS playthrough; the game is just too short and straightforward and for that.

then it goes "bullet-hell"
That's... decidedly not bullet hell :P
