Hello everyone. I was passing there because I'm TASing Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles on Gamecube, and something I always wanted was the possibility to TAS multiplayer. The problem I have is that the game does not allow multiplayer unless it detects gameboy advances connected. I know it might be a stupid idea, but could we fake a gameboy advance into Dolphin? The only thing I would need is the imputs, I don't even need to see a gameboy advance screen. The Wind Waker TAS has something similar with tingle tuner, where it connects something that fakes the gameboy advance and can do imputs. I'm pretty sure almost the exact same thing would work for FFCC. Does someone has an idea about that? Or can there be a tool added to enter TAS imputs from "fake" gameboy advances implemented? Thank you for your answers :)

It should be possible to fake a GBA in that way for FFCC too, but first someone would need to implement the required game-specific code. And keep in mind that I don't know if this kind of faked input is acceptable for TASVideos submissions, and that the code won't get merged into upstream Dolphin because it's a per-game hack.

To be honest, I woudn't mind if it gets rejected. I would simply want to do a nice multiplayer demonstration, accepted or not ^^
