Post subject: YouTube keeps NTSC (and double) FPS

I wanted to see if YouTube keeps frames or adds frames when sending NTSC (30000/1001) and double NTSC (60000/1001) FPS videos. The result is that YouTube does keep the frames unmodified! Here is double NTSC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TABndwIFfoY My sample for NTSC was somehow in violation with YouTube's terms and was removed =(

Yes I'm sure. His is if you are over 30 FPS or 60 FPS. Mine is if you are exactly NTSC or double NTSC which is under 30/60 FPS. Edit: Masterjun was on the journey with me to find out =).

The actual cap is 59.94fps. Regardless of what some tools say, everything I uploaded that was 60 and higher got reduced to 59.94. 59fps upload remained intact. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLR_HUaPVlquNIuYE9j4BHAkN4WIL8gTaG For a 59fps upload, it dropped no frames, just killed some of the last ones, 4997-4999, for a 5000 frame source.

Oh man, if that's true, I upconverted the Doom TAS to 60 FPS for no reason =/.

If it's a true NTSC limit then it should be 60/1.001 = 59.{940059}fps :) Funnily enough this would also cap b/w TV recordings, which were exactly 60fps.

With another downloader I got that the cap is indeed 60.0, so ignore my above post.
