Yeah.... that horrible piece of crap. Here's some resources: http://tasvideos.org/5332S.html My complete 100% TAS Also, this playlist on YouTube of my videos involving this game: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLoZMw6e_YIFFzUw1Dad3vOuKsR5chyipT I found another fun trick where you can actually get an unlimited amount of points in Stay in the Spotlight by holding the stylus on one of those text-boxes in the tutorial, but haven't uploaded that yet. There are a few other things I'm interested in in this game, mostly point-related. It is notable for me to say that there is also an any% category for this game. For any% it would be faster to use Jade as your character, since Tori is 6 frames slower during the character choosing in the menu. Also, you don't have to buy anything in any%, so I would just be doing Easy mode the entire time. For any% all you have to do is start the first level, and go in order all the way to the 18th (last) level, and stop at the frame "Credits" is clicked when that level is completed. The problem with any%, though, is that it would be very difficult to route. Just going through the levels may seem simple to you, but any% is actually a lot more complicated even than 100%. With 100%, you just get every move right in every level. But with any%, there is no coin amount required. Pop the Stars sometimes ends levels faster, as I've observed in certain portions of the game, but Pop the Stars sometimes makes levels longer as well. Pop the Stars is initiated only after 5 rows of perfect moves are completed, and they keep happening every row after that that you get perfect. Along with that, to complete levels, there's a minimum amount of moves you absolutely have to get right in order not to get "Too Bad" and have to do the level over again. So, what I'm basically saying is that for any% I'd have to do a ton of testing with every level to see which moves I can miss (most of them by the way) and which I can't miss to save the most time, and where Pop the Stars will and won't save time. Oh, and a certain amount of points unlocks a certain number of items per level, which wastes a frame per unlockable, so I'd have to factor that into the routing too. Talking about entertainment, if you thought 100% was boring, any% would be an absolute snoozefest for the viewers and a hellhole for the TASer. It would barely look superhuman at all because so many moves would be missed on purpose to save time. In "Stage Combat" we would just die right after the tutorial. Now, I can still have fun with "Stay in the Spotlight", which is the only even remotely good part of the any% run, and it would be nearly the same as 100%. "Northridge Girls" has a time LOSS from missing moves so it would be the same as in 100%. I'm guessing an any% run would be 10 minutes faster than 100% at most. You're subtracting most of Pop the Stars wastes in 100%, doing the first level 1 time instead of 4, having to go back to the main menu so many times, and exiting the unlockable notifications (barely any time at all). Another thing that needs to be done with this game is that I need to make a webpage somewhere containing all the text in the game (like I did for Transformers and plan to do for all games I focus on). Somebody also needs to rip the music from the game and upload it. Though it's not a good game, this sort of thing must be done for every game. Theoretically, somebody's gonna have to do an any% run of every game in existence eventually, so since no one else will even want to touch Victorious, the guy who does that run might as well be me. *sigh* But I'm taking a very, very, very long break from that game nonetheless and may never have the motivation to do any%.
