On to topic!
Setting up this emulator is doing my head in. I am absolutely 500% confused (I think maybe I was made a little TOO comfortable with being able to just drag and drop a game into FCEUX and having it just work :D )
I have run into a brick wall and have no idea how to carry on. This is what I have so far:
Disk Library folder
PC Settings Window of JPC
The emulator runs through the boot sequence (after I do the suggested skips as described in the instructions) and then it stops - awaiting my input.
I have tried running the game via its GO.COM file through the A drive which of course doesn't work (as you'd expect - no point trying to run the game which is in a different drive - at least as far as the software is concerned).
So I change to the C drive and try the GO.COM command and this is what I get:
I have no idea what to do next... Its certainly not booting up as smoothly as Ilari's attempt at SkyRoads here: https://archive.org/details/PcSkyroadsByIlariIn1626.867
Looking forward to getting this fixed! This game will teach me a lot about TASing in a more advanced way - SMB has taught me the basics but this game will teach me a lot about manipulating things to my advantage.
I just tried this myself and got the same error. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do, it's just something unimplemented in the emulator. Trust me, a lot of games don't run on JPC-rr. :(
If you want a similar game to TAS I'm fairly sure Raptor: Call of the Shadows works fine, albeit slowly.

Awwww what? Colour me devastated :(
I remembered playing Baryon as a kid and wanted that to be my first TAS. Guess I'll play the waiting game... in the meantime I had better find something else.

I vaguely remember Major Stryker (that was another game I only ever had the shareware version of iirc). It was a game like this Baryon but along the way you had the option of saving friendly pilots or something of that sort if I remember right.
Or am I thinking of something else?
