Hi, i just updated from my old NES emulator fce Ultra 0.98.12 to fceux 2.2.2. There's multiple changes ^^ Some many very good changes. I have a problem with the game i tried with the fceux 2.2.2 The problem is when starting the game "Gremlins 2 The New Batch" (USA version of the game, i didn't tried with PAL version). When press "Start" to start the game on the main menu, it open the "Password" instead of starting the game. I didn't had this problem with fce Ultra, so i suppose there's something i can do to fix this. The input of my controller are fine, so i don't know what makes this problem to occur. Is it a real bug specific to fceux and not on fce Ultra? or is is something else? I also have a suggestion, but you're free to decide if you want to add it or not to fceux. Adding an option to add a small clock in the bottom right corner (or any other corner of the screen) when playing in full screen mode. That would be usefull to see what time it is while playing the game without having to leave the fullscreen mode just to look at the clock. I remember having seen this option with an emulator somewhere but i can't remember where exactly.

Doesn't happen at all for me, so I'm not sure what the problem could be. Double check your input bindings (Config > Input) and make sure everything works correctly. Enable Input Display (> key, or Config > Display > Input Display) and see if something weird is happening with the controller. All I can say is that it's not a bug with FCEUX and it's not an issue with any of the (U) ROMs. Good luck figuring this out.

Thanks for the reply Samsara. I've enabled input display, and i've found something strange. When i press "Start" it press "Start" and "Up" both at the same time. I tried playing different games, and Super Mario Bros 1 and i can't "Start" to start the game. However, i don't understand, because the input has been configured perfectly. I even tried again with "Clear" button, and re-enter the "Start" button only, and same problem. In comparison, my "Select" button is "JS 0 button 8" and work fine, while my "Start" button is "JS 0 button 9" and have this bug. Maybe fceux have a problem with the Logitech Gamepad F310 But i wonder how i could fix it, i wonder if there's something i can change into the .CFG file. Edit: I think fceux have problem with this model of controller, because i changed the input for "Start" with a letter of my keyboard, and it was working fine with that key, but as soon as i switch back to use the "Start" button from my gamepad, it do both "Start + Up". However, the gamepad itself is not the problem because it works fine with other emulator such as fce Ultra. So, for some reason, fceux 2.2.2 is unable to take only "Start" from the gamepad F310. Hmm, maybe i should try with a previous version of fceux to see if i have the same problem. Edit2: Sorry for all these "Edit" in my message, but i just tried with the version 2.2.1 of fceux and the problem has been solved. So that confirm the version 2.2.2 of fceux have a problem with the Start button of the model of controller F310 from Logitech.

I have a new question (but i think i should not create a new topic just for that, especially since i create this topic not even 24h ago). It's about emulation speed. When pressing "+" the game speed up, at least it's how i understand it. It works fine, but when i use a "Special Scaler" such as hq3x in Config>Video, i realised that over 100% speed, only the sound increase in speed, and not the game itself. Is it normal? Are these Special Scaler and emulation speed over 100% can't work together? or am i facing a strange bug?
