I'm trying to make a movie here with Hourglass and when I try to replay the movie on read+write mode, Hourglass doesn't allow it. It automatically switches to read only. How can I solve this problem? (I'm using VMware with Windows XP, btw).

I used to have problems with multireading when I still had WinXP. Did you try to surf the settings?
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

First: Is it Hourglass or -Resurrection? Second: Have you tried playing it in read-only mode, making a save-state where you want to continue, and then change it to read+write at state-load?

It's Hourglass-r81. Anyway, I'm a derp. All I had to do is play as read only normally then switch to read+write during the replay. Seems like you can't choose read+write right off the bat. This is the first time I'm using Hourglass for real and the program is syncing perfectly so far, but it keeps crashing randomly and it's driving me nuts. Is there not a way to prevent those crashes? I tried disabling multi-threading but it didn't fix the problem (and it kills the game's audio too...)

Hourglass crashing is a known issue. Under the hood Hourglass is doing a lot of undefined things with Windows. Or it could be that your game is doing stuff to the Windows API that Hourglass cannot handle properly yet.

I have a question and found it unnecessary to create a topic, I was wondering how do I Hourglass-Resurrection recognize a game, always appears this message. https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iWoWHTaIGjI/VzhWtNPEErI/AAAAAAAAA4A/xumuyE9fKz4LRKmzxggax43qzQHnm1xzwCLcB/s1600/capture-20160515-075741.png Unfortunately I do not have the English version,I was wondering if this is normal. The game is Street Chaves 1.5

First: Wrong topic. Second: That error message box is completely useless as it contains no information as to what went wrong due to language... Third: Where did you even find a non-English version!?

Unless you can reproduce the issue with a version of Hourglass-Resurrection where someone HASN'T done who knows what to the source code, I am not going to bother with this one.
